Westfield Sully's Team Works Hard for Veterans

byJenniferCesaitis

As the summer sun shines brightly over Westfield, Massachusetts, Sully's Food and Baby Pantry team, with Project New Hope, Inc., continues its unwavering commitment to serving Veterans and the local community. The pantry, nestled in the Hampton Pond’s Plaza, has become a beacon of hope for many, thanks to the tireless efforts of Jordan Gaj and a dedicated team of volunteers.

Building on the momentum of a successful winter season, Sully's Pantry has continued to expand its reach and impact. The pantry's partnership with the local food bank has been instrumental in this growth. This collaboration has increased the variety and quantity of food and grocery items available at the pantry and helped attract new patrons. The pantry's customer base has been steadily growing, a testament to the team's hard work and the community's trust in their efforts.

In addition to working at the pantry, Jordan has been actively involved in various outreach events in and around Westfield. These events provide an opportunity to connect with the community, understand their needs better, and spread the word about Sully's services. Jordan's vibrant personality and welcoming demeanor have made these events a success, drawing in more people to the pantry and the various programs offered by Project New Hope.

One of the significant collaborations that Sully's Pantry has embarked on is with the 104th Fighter Wing and Westover Air Reserve Base. This partnership has opened new avenues for the pantry to serve Veterans and their Families, aligning with Project New Hope's mission of supporting those who have served our country.

The Westfield office of Project New Hope also offers a range of programs for Veterans, including a popular Veteran's Massage program. These programs aim to provide holistic support to Veterans, addressing not just their physical needs through the pantry but also their mental and emotional well-being.

The team at Sully's Pantry and Project New Hope, Inc. are committed to their mission of serving Veterans and the community. Their efforts have been instrumental in addressing food insecurity in the area and providing much-needed support to those in need. As they look forward to the rest of the year, they remain dedicated to their mission, ready to face any challenges that come their way.

If you want to support this cause, consider volunteering at the Westfield office or donating. Every bit of help can make a significant difference in someone's life. For more information, visit www.projectnewhopema.org.
