Iowa Stream Restoration
At Eocene Environmental Group, we develop adaptable, science-based stream and floodplain restoration plans tailored to each site. Our design team develops solutions for floodplain reconnection and restoration that provide communities with opportunities for environmental education and recreational use of streams, rivers and riparian areas. We utilize plant-based bio stabilization techniques to stabilize stream banks that leverage the ability of native vegetation to counteract streambank erosion, while providing habitat to the animals and fish that depend on them.
