Discovering Vinyl Wraps: A Turning Point The breakthrough came when I stumbled upon the world of vinyl wraps. Intrigued by the idea of applying art like a sticker, I envisioned a way to merge my love for automotive and art seamlessly. However, entering this February 2024 l WrapFam Unleashed l 53

The first wrap company that took a chance on me not only taught me the intricacies of design but also imparted invaluable lessons about the business side of things. A strict yet nurturing environment fueled my growth, laying the foundation for what would become my venture. Working in different shops exposed me to varied approaches in the industry. Each experience shaped my perspective, emphasizing that there’s no one-size-fits-all method. My artistic perfectionism faced challenges in a fastpaced shop atmosphere, but overcoming this struggle fueled my confidence and determination. I learned that success in this dynamic industry goes beyond expertise; it’s about recognizing the unstoppable force within oneself. My message to aspiring artists echoes this sentiment: dedicate yourself to the craft, embrace the learning curve, and unveil the strength that lies within.
Curvaceous Wraps: A Vision Realized
Project Details: Monthly digital consumer magazine highlighting vinyl wraps and vinyl wrap artists. As the Art Director/Graphic Designer, I curate content and design the layout, ensuring a visually engaging experience that showcases the latest trends and talents.
As I founded Curvaceous Wraps, my aim was clear—to create custom-made artwork surpassing the offerings of traditional wrap shops. Charging the right rates for intricate, high-style designs became imperative. Having a blend of expertise in vinyl, vehicles, art, and 3D, I created a niche that sets me apart. To those aspiring to tread this path, I affirm that it’s an achievable feat, but it demands dedication and hard work. Taken during the creative process, offering behind-the-scenes insights. 54 l WrapFam Unleashed l February 2024
My Design Process: Creating each design begins with the spark of a client’s idea—a desire for something truly special, tailored to their vision. I like to draw parallels to a tattoo artist, where instead of inking skin, I use a vehicle as my canvas. Transforming a car into a work of art presents challenges, akin to tattooing on a dynamic surface. The art must conform to the curves and contours, bending, warping, and flowing with the vehicle’s shape to avoid appearing flat. It’s a delicate balance, much like the skill required to tattoo an arm or leg. February 2024 l WrapFam Unleashed l 55

TOOLBOX
ONLINE COURSEWORK FLOW FOR ALL MODULES There are 8 Toolbox Modules, which are intentionally paired together to form four Toolbox Units. Each Toolbox Module includes two face-to-face training days followed by required readings, an Integration Webinar, and writing assignments. Each module has online learning components located inside the respective unit’s course in EBI’s Mighty Network (https://earthbasedinstitute.mn.co/). You are added to the course when you RSVP for the intensive. To complete the entire module, you’ll complete several steps as laid out in the course. These steps include:
Step One: Complete a Face-to-Face Reflection Worksheet This is a reflective questionnaire to gather your takeaways from each Intensive. The questionnaire can be found inside the “Learning Modules” page of the respective unit on which you’re working (i.e. Gestalt & Partswork). Your reflections will be on both modules covered within the Intensive. Due within one week of the Face-to-Face Intensive.
Step Two: Begin the readings for the module. Please check each module in Mighty Network for the specific reading list relevant to that module. Please note that some modules include assigned readings from books in the reading list and/or PDF’s which can also be found on the reading list. The intention is that you begin the required reading after the intensive and complete it before finishing the module. The entire reading list for the program can be viewed by scanning this QR code.
Step Four: Complete your Initial Post in the course Discussion Feed Compose a 1-2 page article in the Discussion Feed that demonstrates your understanding of the concepts learned in this module. Reflect on your experience with your client, the readings, and what you learned during the Face-to-Face intensive. Use any or all of these questions to help you organize your thoughts: • What steps did you take to establish the Coaching Relationship and focus the session? • How did or could the skills and topics from the most recent Intensive fit into your nature-connected coaching session? • What challenges did you face? How did you adapt? • What flowed and how did you build off it? • What did you learn about yourself and nature-connected coaching? • How do the readings relate and interact with the face to face material and your work with your practice clients? • What ideas do you have for how you might use the skills and topics from the most recent Intensive in and nature-connected coaching in the future with your client? • How will they affect or enhance your Coaching Presence and approach? • How do the principals of the recent module interface with Nature Connected Practices? Please find the due dates for your Initial post, Responses and Summary Post in the Mighty Network course for each module.
Step Five: Participate in the Online Discussion • •
Project Details: I design and continually refresh a pair of workbooks for Earth-Based Institute’s training courses, ensuring they are engaging and current for both new and returning participants.
•
Step Three: Meet with your Practice Client Apply the skills of the recent module in a coaching session with your practice client*. You can also consider practicing the skills at an EBI-hosted Practice Session, which occurs twice a month. *For the Toolbox modules, you need to have a practice client(s). If for some reason you cannot meet with a practice client before your initial post, please see the alternative options outlined in the Mighty Networks course.
Check this Discussion Feed a few times/week. Read your cohort members’ responses and post two – four comments to encourage deeper discussion and discovery of the topic. The intention is for this to be a discussion with your cohort. Feel free to answer your classmates’ posts with questions for deeper understanding, your take on the topic, and how your peers’ experiences have helped you. No one-liners! Give your classmates the respect of engaging them in dialogue.
Step Six: Attend the Integration Webinar Attend or watch the recording of the Integration Webinar, which is hosted by a mentor. These webinars are designed to help you integrate the material and deepen your understanding.
Step Seven: Complete your Summary Post Read through the discussion amongst your cohort and post a reflective summary post that expresses what you are taking away from the module.

As a former therapist, I now coach business leaders on how to create healthy habits that will increase their success in business and in life. I focus on creating balance, maximizing energy, overcoming the burnout cycle, and minimizing symptoms of high-functioning anxiety that often come from having the nonstop-hustle mentality. Like most professionals in my field, my work is driven by my personal experience. I was diagnosed with anxiety/depression

FUNDAMENTAL HEALTH WITH LINDSEY PAOLI
Your dreams are limitless...
Legacy Visualization
MIND FUNDAMENTALS If there were ZERO obstacles to you reaching your most audacious, wild, out-of-the-box dreams, what would your life
When you master your mind, everything else comes easily. I’ve created the MIND Fundamentals as a road map to living
look like? Where are you living, who is around you, what does your daily life look like? HOW DO YOU FEEL?
life the way that humans were intended (which inherently takes care of mental health). The planner emphasizes and incorporates the MIND concepts daily, so it’s important that you thoroughly understand their importance. MOVEMENT – Thirty minutes of heart rate increasing movement each day is not only beneficial to your physical health but research shows (time and time again) that it’s also IMPERATIVE to your mood and emotional regulation. Movement (especially bilateral movement such as walking, running, swimming, etc) is also helpful to improve visualizing, planning, and thinking outside of the box. INTENTION - Setting goals and achieving them are important reminders that every day of your life is a step towards creating your life’s purpose! It’s not only an important skill to master when leveling up, but setting and achieving goals feels effing great! Learning to set, accomplish, and CELEBRATE goals (big, small, and everything in between) is one of my favorite tools to teach when talking about self-worth and confidence. NOURISHMENT - I define nourishment as paying attention to “what fuels you”. Yes, what you eat is important, but also paying attention to the things that put you in a flow-state, that light your fire, that IGNITE and excite you. Many of us forget (or are too busy) to have hobbies, but that also means we’re not incorporating feel-good nourishment each day.
LINDSEY PAOLI
Hell, MOST people can’t even tell me what their hobbies/nourishment are! If that’s you, no worries, use this book to plan and document (trying new things frequently) to help you identify them. I find that these usually feel like releasing activities or activities that allow us to be creative instead of structured. (The fundamentals can be layered, so if move-
THE LIFE PERFORMANCE COACH
ment is your nourishment then that’s a double whammy for the day!) DEEP CONNECTION - Even though personal growth is inherently personal, it cannot happen without having real, authentic, and up-leveling relationships around you. Let me repeat: YOU are not meant to grow alone! We are tribal creatures who are meant to learn and evolve with others. That can take practice, so ensure that you’re working daily to show up vulnerably with others, and actively meeting people that inspire you!
Project Details: The MIND Master Planner, envisioned by licensed therapist Lindsey Paoli, is a workbook specifically designed to complement therapeutic practices. I brought Lindsey’s vision to life, now featured in her many guest speaking engagements. 2
While those four are the core teachings for my clients, there are a myriad of other foundational (and often ignored) practices that must be done to prioritize mental health. I have included a few others in this planner, including spending 30 minutes outside (a perfect time might be getting in your 30 min of movement—triple whammy if layered with nourishment for the day!), hydrating, making time for learning something new, and paying attention to (and taking control of) your sleep habits.

Stephen L. Capper has written a book that is timeless. Distilled from his personal business experience—which began in 1958, when he was 12 years old—what Steve has to say was valuable ten years ago, and it will be valuable ten years from now. “Like a rope, I wanted to give you something to hang onto—the information that will help you to think where you want to take your business.” — Stephen L. Capper
