how losing weight helped my sex life After kid number three, my body decided to stage a revolt against me and refuse to lose the weight I picked up. There was just something about that last kid really did me in. I topped out at 178 pounds. One day, I decided I had enough, so I found ways to lose weight. There were so many awesome things that resulted in me losing the pounds. Of course, I knew I would benefit from some things, like fitting into my clothes again and constant compliments from others. What I didn’t know, is how much it would affect my sex life.

My Newfound Confidence Was Noticeable The more weight I dropped, the more confident I felt about my body, especially in the bedroom. I was able to wear lingerie I had never been able to put on before. In fact, I wanted to go without clothes more than usual also. It was much easier to look in the mirror during intimate times. I found that adding in mirrors at time really helped me feel sexier and enhance sexual intimacy. Before I lost the weight, I wouldn’t have been ok doing that.

My Husband Loved My Body At Every Size My husband has always loved my body at every size I’ve been. He is pretty much amazing like that. However, I could tell that he really enjoyed seeing me be closer to the size I was when we first got married. The way I looked after dropping the weight, was very much how I looked on our honeymoon. It was great for him to have a visual reminder of what those first few weeks together looked like.

My Stamina Increased Increased stamina can help in all kinds of areas of your life, but it is particularly awesome for your sex life. The longer I could engage in physical activities, the more I could do with my husband. It is very helpful to have multiples if you are physically fit. A woman is capable of having as many as they like. Usually, you run out of physical stamina before you can have several. I found that my increased stamina made things much easier in the bedroom.

My Mood Was Already Boosted Exercising causes your brain to release feel good hormones, just the same as having sex. Since I was committed to exercising and doing more, I was already feeling better mentally. It made it much easier for me to get in the mood since I was generally happier.
