IS A BUILDER GEL BETTER THAN ACRYLIC?

As a nail technician, you will probably have your fair share of clients who ask you if the brush on builder gel is better on their nails than acrylic. However, it may be difficult to answer this question as it is usually personal. For example, a builder gel may not look as hard as acrylic but is flexible and durable. Builder gel is often preferred over acrylic to get the most natural-looking nails as it can be applied quickly with a glossy finish. The gel is also excellent for helping clients with easily broken nails to maintain their natural nail length. Many clients also believe that gel nails will damage their nails under acrylic nails. The flexibility of the Builder’s gel means that it is less likely to cause breakage. Using a dipping formula, you can also minimize damage during removal, as you will need less filling and drilling. However, that does not mean that acrylic is especially dangerous for nails! If clients have soft nails, acrylics can provide armor to protect them. Gels and acrylics should be equally safe as long as they are used, cared for, and thoroughly removed by a trained nail technician. If your client can no longer decide what to do, save some photos of your best work to show them a different look you can create.
