The t w o m e t a s young designers and today, their collaborative workspace captures the vibra n t c o l o r s o f the city outside. “People say our design is very Scandinavian. We like to th i n k t h a t w e mix the purity of this style with a little Mediterranean daring” says Clara d e l P o r t i l l o .

Simplicity, innovation and originality, without extravagance, is the backb o n e t o t h e i r design philosophy. Their versatility and adaptability are the cornerstones o f t h e w o r k don e i n the i r studi o.

The two designers have found their inspiration of the Flora sofa in the nat u r a l s h a p e s of vegetation. From how the petals of flowers grow in organic ways. T h e d i s t i n c t i v e d e t a i l o f F lora is the curved shapes outlined by an elegant b l a c k p i p i n g t h a t m a r k s t h e contour of the sofa. This is what gives Flora its e x p r e s s i v e c h a r a c t e r . W h e t her as a stand alone module or combining different m o d u l e s , t h e l o w b a c k r e s t and deep seat provide a lounging and open feel w h i l e o f f e r i n g m a x i m u m c omfort. The four modules can be customised in v a r i o u s w a y s t o s u i t d i f f e r e nt rooms and purposes. Create a casual corner in a p r i v a t e h o m e o r l a v i s h l o unge areas in public spaces. Combine two corners f o r a l o v e s e a t o r e x p a n d w i th one or more middle modules to make space for t h e e n t i r e f a m i l y . F l o r a r e s t s on low wooden feet, which makes it hover above t he f l o o r an d l i g h t e n s i t s s tu rd y exp res s io n.
