One of Windermere’s festive Christmas events, the annual boat parade, is this Saturday, Dec. 23. At sunset, boats all decked out in lights and merriment will meet at Bird Island and travel Lake Butler to Wauseon Bay. Participants should meet at the north side of Bird Island to prepare.
