YOUR TOWN HOLIDAY EVENTS WILL CLOSE ROADS Roads will be closed for holiday events. For Winter on the Avenue Dec. 7, the following roads will close at 2 p.m.: Park Avenue between Canton and Lyman avenues; New England Avenue between West Park Avenue and Center Street; and Morse Boulevard between New York Avenue and Center Street. On Dec. 8, these roads will close at 6 a.m.: Park Avenue between Webster and Comstock; Park Avenue side streets along the route; and New York Avenue between Canton and Webster.

It’s getting closer to showtime for a new black box theater at Rollins College. Winter Park Planning and Zoning Board members gave preliminary approval at their Tuesday, Dec. 4, meeting for the redevelopment of the former Fred Stone
