2.2-MILE WALK TO RAISE AWARENESS OF VETERAN SUICIDE The Hugh T. Gregory American Legion Post 63 is hosting its second Challenge 22 Ruck Walk to raise awareness of veteran suicide. It takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Crooked Can Brewing Company, 246 W. Plant St., Winter Garden. Registration and sign-in is at 10:30 a.m., and the opening ceremony starts at 11. The walk is 2.2 miles, but participants don’t have to walk the entire length. They can stop at the post, 271 W. Plant St., after the first half-mile and return to Plant Street Market for the after-party along South Central Avenue.

Leading coach manufacturer Prevost has established a presence in Winter Garden. The company gathered with business partners and local leaders on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Prevost’s newest Service Center, 1300 Green Forest Court, to celebrate the opening of the facility. Prevost
manufactures premium intercitytouring coaches and produces conversion coaches for high-end motorhomes and specialty conversion. Prevost is also part of the Volvo Group.
