ith space for only 12 seats when he opened in what used to be the old Gotha Country Store, Yellow Dog Eats owner Fish Morgan never expected his small, casual cafe to grow into the successful restaurant it has become. Twenty years have now passed since Yellow Dog Eats — located at 1236 Hempel Avenue in Gotha — first opened for business in 1998. The family-owned restaurant invited the community to cel-

Orange County leaders shared details about a new relief school in Southwest Orange County during a community meeting held Thursday, Nov. 8, at Dr. Phillips High School.

The Hugh T. Gregory American Legion Post 63 is hosting its second Challenge 22 Ruck Walk to raise awareness of veteran suicide. It takes place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at Crooked Can Brewing Company, 246 W. Plant St., Winter Garden. Registration and sign-in is at 10:30 a.m., with the opening ceremony starting at 11. The walk is 2.2 miles, but participants do not have to walk the entire length.
