The Winter Park Fire-Rescue Department will present its first “Hands-Only CPR Training” from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Nov. 3, at the FireRescue Headquarters, 343 W. Canton Ave., Winter Park. The public is invited to attend this free event, which also will feature family activities, including stopthe-bleed training, fire truck display, spraying a real fire hose, coloring for the kids, raffles and light refreshments.

Trindade family files wrongful death lawsuit The family of deceased Winter Park High School student Roger Trindade has filed a lawsuit against Winter Park, OCPS and the families of three juvenile suspects. TIM FREED ASSOCIATE EDITOR
It’s been two years since 15-yearold Winter Park High School student Roger Trindade lost his life in a violent altercation Oct. 15, 2016 in Central Park.
