+ Turn in your guns to Ocoee PD The Ocoee Police Department is participating in the annual Kicks 4 Guns program from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at HighPoint Church, 476 Ocoee Commerce Parkway, Ocoee. Citizens turning in guns are asked to transport them unloaded and securely in the trunk of their vehicle. Upon arriving at the venue, citizens should immediately advise the officer if the firearms are loaded. A gift card will be given to everyone who turns in one or more guns, while supplies last. hile dabbling in a new hobby, Keith Bruno recognized a need — and an opportunity. The Winter Garden resident and helicopter pilot had always had an interest in remote control aircrafts, dating back to the 1990s. Then on a trip to California last year, Bruno kept hearing about the growing popularity of drones, and an idea began to take shape. Upon returning, Bruno decided to purchase a drone to satisfy his curiosity and see what he could learn about the technology. Always one to do his homework, Bruno soon
