YOUR TOWN OCOEE BEGINS ROAD PROJECT The city of Ocoee’s Community Redevelopment Agency will re-landscape the medians on Old Winter Garden Road between Maguire Road and Blackwood Avenue. Work began this week and is expected to end by July 31. The westbound lanes will remain open during construction; however, the eastbound inside lane will be closed. Construction hours are anticipated to be between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. weekdays. The project will include the planting of new palms, oaks, crape myrtles, shrubs and ground cover. It will include irrigation and a fresh layer of mulch.
