Developer plans new shopping plaza

A grocer, restaurants and many other retailers are potentially coming to a new shopping center in Horizon West’s Village F. Plans for a grocery-anchored retail center, called The Mark, include more than 112,000 square feet of in-line and outparcel space. It is located off Seidel Road and Seton Creek Boulevard. Orange County officials will hold a Horizon West Town Hall at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 6, at Windermere High School, 5523 Winter GardenVineland Road, Windermere. Representatives from the area’s emergency services, Orange County Public Schools and local government will be present. All officials will be available to answer questions. The discussion likely will include infrastructure issues and school openings. The meeting is one of three town halls conducted in District 1. The goal is to keep people in the community upto-date with changes going on in each particular area, Orange County District 1 Commissioner Betsy VanderLey said.
