School board term limits make ballot

Orange County School Board members might soon be limited to eight years if at least 60% of Florida voters approve a proposed constitutional amendment on the November 2018 ballot. The proposed amendment is one of three included in ProSEE PROPOSAL PAGE 2

U.S. Congresswoman Stephanie Murphy recently honored Winter Park Fire Chief James White in the Congressional Record, the official record of the proceedings of the United States Congress. Murphy presented a copy of her statement to White during a ceremony at the Winter Park Fire-Rescue headquarters. Murphy recognized White, who will be retiring in May after 35 years of service including 15 years as the head of the Winter Park Fire Department, for his leadership and service.
