DONATE FOOD TO STAMP OUT HUNGER Second Harvest is calling on Central Florida residents to open their cupboards to help local families in need. Collect non-perishable food items such as canned soups, meats, vegetables and dry goods like pasta, rice and cereal, place them in a sturdy bag and leave them by the mailbox by 9 a.m. Saturday, May 11. The bags will be collected by local letter carriers as part of the 27th annual Stamp Out Hunger! food drive.

Donations of food items keep the pantry stocked at Matthew’s Hope, but lately, the homeless ministry has had trouble keeping those shelves full.
