YOUR TOWN SENIORS INVITED TO RECEPTION Palm Lake Elementary School is holding a reception for former Bobcats who are about to graduate from high school. The reception is at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9, in the PLES media center. Former students are invited to celebrate, catch up with old friends and teachers and share a favorite memory. Second Harvest is calling on Central Florida residents to open their cupboards to help local families in need. Collect nonperishable food items such as canned soups, meats, vegetables and dry goods like pasta, rice and cereal, place them in a sturdy bag and leave them by the mailbox by 9 a.m. Saturday, May 11. The bags will be collected by local letter carriers as part of the 27th annual Stamp Out Hunger! food drive.

Orange County government officials gave Dr. Phillips residents updates on ongoing projects and activity in their area during a Town Hall meeting Thursday, May 2, at the Rosen Jewish Community Center. Chief Planner Eric Raasch was
