CELEBRATING ONE YEAR Michael and Vonda Kay Ogden will celebrate their oneyear anniversary by taking the long way around Winter Garden, just as they did on their wedding day May 3, 2018. The couple were wed in the home they are renovating in Winter Garden, surrounded by their closest friends and family. To honor her husband and the importance of their commitment, Vonda Kay presented her husband, retired Air Force Chief Master Sgt. Michael Ogden, a marriage challenge coin, to which he simply replied, “Challenge Accepted.” The couple’s first date was a dog walk around Winter Garden, and they can be seen most evenings walking hand-in-hand, as their dog Jazz leads the way.

Winter Garden city commissioners approved the rezone request from WP South Acquisitions LLC, regarding a 14.87-acre property on East Plant Street and North West Crown Point Road to pave the way for new apartments. The rezoning to Character Area
