Carlos Anglero, the Ocoee officer who shot into a family’s home after being sent to the wrong address by a Winter Garden police dispatcher, will avoid jail time. Instead, Judge Kim Shepard ordered Anglero to pay restitution to the Lewis family and sentenced him to three years of supervised

probation and 100 hours of community service. Shepherd also withheld adjudication, meaning Anglero will not have a felony conviction on his record. Anglero, who had been placed on unpaid administrative leave from the Ocoee Police Department, was sent to a residential address for a domestic disturSEE CARLOS PAGE 4
