WE’RE BEER FOR IT! Legacy, Observer present second Craft Beer Festival

Whether you’re someone who enjoyed the inaugural event or you’re coming for the first time this year, we are pleased to welcome you to the 2025 Hamlin Craft Beer Festival.

Set for 3 to 7 p.m. Saturday March 29, at the Hamlin Green Space, 14111 Shoreside Way, Winter Garden, this year’s event — presented by Legacy Events for Education and the Observer Media Group — promises to be bigger, bolder and better in every way.

“This year will be twice the size of last year’s inaugural festival with more drink stalls, food and live entertainment,” Legacy Events for Education President David Terry said.

This year’s festival will feature more than 75 varieties of beer, ciders and other drinks from more than 35 regional and national breweries and companies. Not a beer drinker? There will be plenty of options, including hard seltzer and flat-water adult beverages.

This year, attendees will enjoy live music from 1980s arena rock band Shyanne and a giant interactive game zone with miniature golf, giant beer pong and many more surprises. Culinary delights will be available from a variety of food trucks.

Note: This event is for guests 21 and older. Fourlegged friends are welcome.

A general admission wristband ($45) includes event entry at 4 p.m., a sample cup and access to all the festivities. Want VIP treatment? For $75, you will be able to enter one hour early and also have access to a shaded area with seating and restrooms, exclusive light bites provided by Rum Runners BBQ and Twisted Plates, and a commemorative T-shirt. Not drinking? You can purchase a VIP designated driver ticket for $15 or a general admission designated driver ticket for $5.

All money raised will be benefit Legacy Events for Education, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has delivered more than $120,000 in scholarships and grants to local graduates and their schools. The organization also offers a variety of classes to assist local students and their families.

“This festival has become the Legacy Events for Education’s largest fundraising event of the year, and it will fund scholarships for West Orange County students, and classes open to community teens on topics such as résumé writing and ‘How Money Works through the Legacy Academy,’” Terry said.

Since it’s inception, Legacy has delivered more than $120,000 in scholarships and grants to local graduates and their schools.
