The Southeastern Food Bank is looking for volunteers to unload, set up, sort, pack and deliver 2,000 boxes of food through its Food For Families Easter drive. Helpers will meet at Ocoee High School, 1925 Ocoee Crown Point Parkway. Two shifts are available at 4 and 7 p.m. Friday, March 13, to pack the boxes that will be delivered the following day. Developers of certain multifamily residences will have to adhere to stricter building standards within the city of Winter Garden going forward. Commissioners unanimously approved an ordinance during the Feb. 27 commission meeting that amends the city’s code of ordinances to create local amendments to the Florida building code.
