The community is invited to a school safety community forum at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 1, at Windermere High School, 5523 Winter GardenVineland Road, Windermere. The meeting is open to residents of Orange County School Board District 4. Speakers will include a School Board representative, Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings and Jen Styles Williams, of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church.

Dr. Phillips Town Hall meeting. The meeting, held Feb. 21 at the Rosen Jewish Community Center in Southwest Orlando, opened with a presentation by Orange County Chief Planner Eric Raasch, who listed several residential and commercial projects planned in the north, central and south divisions of the Dr. Phillips area.

NORTH

In the north sector, proposed plans include a 43,000-square-foot assisted-living facility on Conroy-Windermere Road known as the Certus Senior Living Center. The center will be considered for approval by the Orange County Board of County Commissioners in June. Also in the works is a proposed

mixed-use project called Isleworth Four Corners, which is to be located at the intersection of Conroy-Windermere and Apopka-Vineland roads. The project, which had its first community meeting Feb. 27, would include 23 single-family units, 200 townhomes, 80 SEE TOWN PAGE 4
