The Orange County Library System and the Central Florida Fair are partnering to bring Tales from the Farm, a fun farmthemed story time and animal meet-and-greet to several libraries this month. The event will take place at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at the Windermere Branch, 530 Main St., Windermere; 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at the Winter Garden Branch, 805 E. Plant St., Winter Garden; 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 23 at the Southwest Branch, 7255 Della Drive, Orlando; and 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27, at the West Oaks Branch and Genealogy Center, 1821 E. OCOEE TO CELEBRATE MLK The city of Ocoee’s 18th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Unity Parade and Celebration will take place at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 19. The parade begins at Citrus Elementary School, 87 North Clarke Road, and ends at the parking lot of the West Oaks Mall. The public is invited to attend a post-parade celebration that will take place in the West Oaks Mall food court at 11 a.m. Ages Hart will be the keynote speaker for the celebration. Organizations may register for the parade by visiting ocoee. org/MLK.
