There are three primary modes that Wornick has planned for the 2020-2021 school year: In person learning, hybrid learning and remote learning. When safe and permitted, our school will prioritize in person learning. In person learning means that students are learning on campus with their teachers and that they will be following the in person safety guidelines detailed in this plan.

Hybrid learning is not practical for students vacationing or taking unexpected days off from school. Teachers meticulously plan lessons and materials for high student engagement and learning. Without the proper notice and setting, materials and student attention are reduced, thus making learning challenging for both the student and the class. In these instances, we ask that you notify info@wornickjds.org that you are taking a vacation and will not be attending classes. You may request work to be completed independently while away, however this will be dependent on significant notice and the lessons during your student’s absence.

TK - 5th Grade Students are encouraged to participate in the hybrid learning when: - They are home sick and feel well enough to participate in the school day.

- There is a family life event, such as a death or birth in the family.

- The student(s) must quarantine per the Wornick Health and Safety Plan.

In all of these instances, parents would notify health@wornickjds.org and their teachers to arrange for a supply pick up of materials to support hybrid learning for the off campus learning days.

Middle School Because most middle school work is presented digitally through Google Classroom with limited materials, students are encouraged to attend class when: - They are home sick and feel well enough to participate in the school day.

- There is a family life event, such as a death or birth in the family.

- The student(s) must quarantine per the Wornick Health and Safety Plan.

- They are away from school for a prolonged absence (more than 2 days).

For any health or safety absence, please notify health@wornickjds.org and for any prolonged absence, please notify Nicole Haire at nhaire@wornickjds.org. If the absence is sudden, a materials pickup or delivery can be arranged, however in most circumstances, students will have all necessary materials with them.

A. Guidelines for Wornick Parents During Remote Learning During remote learning, parents will have to think differently about what their child needs to be successful. It will likely have its challenges, made more difficult by circumstances where parents are also trying to work. We also ask that parents be patient and empathetic to our teachers, who are facing challenges of their own, as well as a transition to a different learning model. Our guidelines for parents are: • Set up a routine with your student. Talk through WITH them what a day looks like and what is expected. Having them be a part owner of setting the routine will help increase their buy-in on implementing the routine. Try to maintain normal routines as much as possible, and definitely have time for movement and exercise.

• Help them be prepared. Where do they want to do their work? Do they have the materials they need? Walk through instructions with them. Having a physical and ergonomically suitable space that works and having them ready to do their work will help with the effectiveness of their routine.

• Monitor communications from your children’s teachers. Communications may come through email to parents (or students directly, depending on their age), or through Seesaw or Google Classroom.

• Set a time to check in with your children. Are they prepared at the beginning of the day? Do they know what is expected of them? Would a checklist be helpful to organize themselves? Have them share at regular intervals or at the end of the day what they worked on and what they turned in. What this looks like will depend on their age, their needs, and what works for your family.

• Be flexible and resilient as needed. You may notice that one child needs something that helps make their day more successful, such as more or less frequent check-ins. Be willing to evolve as necessary.

• Build in breaks and exercise. Remember that during “normal” school hours, they have recess, lunch, and on certain days PE. Make sure they have time to get outside and move!

• Support them emotionally. Children are very perceptive and pick up on how their parents are feeling. While it may be a difficult time to model a sense of calm, establishing a new normal can go a long way to supporting your child. Wornick’s School Counselor is also available to help support your child.

• Monitor how much time your child is spending online. Wornick does not want its students staring at computer screens for 7-8 hours a day. We ask that parents remember most teachers are not experts in remote learning and that it will require some trial-anderror before we find the right balance between online and offline learning experiences.

School administrators will periodically check in with you to assess what you’re seeing at home and what we need to adjust. We thank you in advance for your patience and partnership!

• Set rules around online interactions. Students may connect online and that will be a helpful way to remain connected with their friends. However, any school utilized platforms that are used inappropriately will be turned off for that student as a consequence.

Additionally, older students may have access to other social media or platforms unrelated to school. We ask that parents monitor their children’s use, and remind them to be respectful and kind.

Student Roles & Expectations • Establish daily routines for engaging in the learning experiences (e.g. brush teeth, get dressed, 8:30am start) • Identify a comfortable, quiet space in your home where you can work effectively and successfully • Regularly monitor online platforms (Google Classroom, Seesaw, email, etc.) to check for announcements and feedback from your teachers • Complete assignments, doing your best work • Join online meetings and lessons on time and behave respectfully • Do your best to meet timelines, commitments, and due dates • Communicate proactively with your teachers if you cannot meet deadlines or need help • Collaborate and support your Wornick peers in their learning • Comply with Wornick’s Acceptable Use Policy, including expectations for online etiquette • Proactively seek out and communicate with other adults at Wornick as different needs arise

B. Schedules The schedule during remote learning will mirror the in person learning schedule. The first class will begin at 9am and the last class will end at 2:45pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

On Wednesday, classes will begin at 9am and end at 12pm. On Fridays, classes will begin at 9am and end at 2:15pm. Classes will all be “synchronous” meaning that students will be learning on the same schedule. There will be built in breaks, off-screen time, and a lunch break.

“Synchronous” does not mean that students are sitting in front of their computers for the entire school day. Students will learn in a variety of modes including in “Zoom” rooms with their entire class, in small groups using the breakout feature, in pairs, or independently. However, instructions will be given live by teachers and teachers will remain available throughout the synchronous lessons. The percentage of time spent in each of these modes will be determined in an age appropriate way by the administration with the support of the Educational Leadership Team.

In the younger grades, schedules will be color coded indicating the type of synchronous lessons that each class will be. Blue coded classes will be synchronous and with teachers. Students will be expected to be on “Zoom” live with their teachers for the entire lesson. Green coded classes mean that the lesson can be done independently or in partnership with a parent at home.

Instructions will be given at the start of a green session or they will be recorded in advance by the teacher. The teacher will be available throughout the green session to work with students who would like the support of a teacher. Students are not required to attend these lessons but are encouraged to complete them as they are a part of the learning program of the school.

Yellow coded classes are optional lessons. The student may choose to attend. Teachers will be online for those who choose to participate.

Schedules can be found in two places. They can be found in the Google calendar of your individual students. Schedules can also be found on the Google sites home page of each class.

Zoom links for each class session can be found within the schedule.

C. Communication & Technology This section provides information on relevant communication methods and technology platforms that will be in use during remote learning, and other modes of learning. How we communicate with our community will be through the same channels as during regular operations:

Email will be used for all major communications and announcements, including those from the Head of School or Assistant Head of School. Teachers may use email to communicate, although they will use other platforms to interact with their students as well.

E. Devices and Materials Middle school students will receive a device in accordance with our 1 to 1 device program that they will use for all modes of learning, as they would during standard operations. For grades TK-5, devices are normally stored in carts outside the classroom for student use. During this time, however, Wornick will be loaning devices to all students to support their learning. All students are required to use Wornick devices as required applications are loaded on to these devices. To receive a device, families must complete a Student Device Contract and return it to info@wornickjds.org. The process for picking up devices will be announced prior to the start of school.

Wornick will be preparing boxes of materials for each student that will be available for pickup prior to the start of school. Additionally, materials needed for ongoing learning needs will be prepared by teachers and available for pickup on Thursdays. Specific pickup procedures will be shared prior to the start of school.

F. Social Emotional Support Our interim school counselor, Marcy Henzel, will be available to meet with students during remote, hybrid, and in person learning. To initiate a 1-1 call with Marcy, please reach out to her at mhenzel@wornickjds.org. Marcy may proactively reach out to some students with whom she already has a working relationship.

G. Supporting Diverse Learners Ms. Samovar, our Director of Learning Services, will be in all Google classrooms and grade level Seesaw pages reviewing students’ work and supporting teachers in engaging our diverse learners. Ms. Samovar will also be reaching out separately to engage in 1-1 Zoom calls with students to maintain her work with the students she regularly supports. Please be on the lookout for event invitations for your students 1-1 with Ms. Samovar.

H. Attendance Each day, students will be marked absent or present based on whether they participated in the assigned activities or online sessions.

I. Discipline Google Hangouts and “chats” are currently enabled. Typically, these functions are disabled in the Wornick space for some grade levels. Students who abuse the hangout space or use the chat inappropriately with their peers will have their hangouts disabled for a period of time as a consequence, as determined by the Head of School or Assistant Head of School. We encourage you to monitor your students’ computer use to support them in using it appropriately.

In Person Learning Protocols Wornick’s Head of School, in consultation with the Board of Trustees, Senior Administrative Team, and the Health and Safety Committee, will determine when Wornick will offer in person learning as set forth in the third section of this document addressing Metrics for Returning to In Person Learning (page 4).

This section sets forth the parameters and protocols associated with reopening the physical building. It should be noted that, if this year has taught us anything, we will need to be resilient and flexible, as circumstances and requirements may change throughout the year. Moreover, for this plan to be successful, we are relying on our community to adhere to this plan and these policies.

A. Four Pillars for Safe Return to School “The Four Pillars of the San Mateo County Pandemic Recovery Framework (health and hygiene protocols, face coverings, physical distancing, and limiting gatherings) are intended to work in concert to reduce the likelihood of spread within the school setting,” and “the behaviors and actions required in the Four Pillars are grounded in science and represent best practices in preventing the spread of communicable disease.” See, SMCOE, Pandemic Recovery Framework, page 21.

B. Health and Hygiene Protocols Wornick is implementing the following protocols pursuant to this pillar: • Families and staff will be required to fill out an electronic form each morning confirming that no member of their household has exhibited the following symptoms in the past 14 days: fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle or body aches, headaches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea.

• Any student who has a household member experiencing these symptoms will be required to stay home and learn via distance learning. They may not return to school until they are symptom-free for 72 hours and receive clearance from Wornick. Students who are asymptomatic may return if their household member has a negative COVID-19 test.

• Families and staff will also be required to confirm on the electronic form that neither they, nor anyone in their household, have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or exposed to someone who has been diagnosed COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

• Should they test positive for COVID-19 or be exposed to someone who tests positive for COVID-19, all members of the household must self-isolate for 14 days, and may not return to Wornick until they meet the CDC criteria to end self-isolation and receive clearance from Wornick.

• Families must notify health@wornickjds.org as soon as a household member is sick or experiencing symptoms if one of the household members plans to come on-campus within 14 days.

• All students and staff will have their temperature taken with no-touch thermometers prior to entering school grounds. Should their temperature exceed 100 degrees, they must return home.

• All drop offs and pick ups will happen on Balclutha Drive at their assigned drop off and pick up times, parents must remain in their car until their student is cleared to enter school.

• No parents will be allowed onto campus.

• Families will be assigned staggered drop off times between 8am and 9am and staggered pick up times between 2:45pm and 3:45pm.

• Students who are able to enter classrooms from an outside facing door will be instructed to do so to limit students in the hallway.

• Campus signage is being put up as reminders of daily hygiene routines.

• Parents must review handwashing and cough/sneezing etiquette with their children.

Teachers will also review and reinforce these hygiene practices, treating this as a learning opportunity.

• Students and staff will be required to wash hands upon arrival and throughout the day during breaks, and as needed. Students and staff will also be required to use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting a room. This will be referred to as the “gel in, gel out” protocol.

• Wornick has hired additional staff to perform cleaning throughout the school day, as well as deep cleaning at night. Staff are using CDC approved cleaners.

• Wornick has purchased additional supplies including face coverings, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes and cleaners, gloves for specific activities, and face shields.

• HEPA air filters will be installed in all rooms and will be replaced as appropriate.

• Windows will be kept open.

• As practicable, students will not be sharing supplies. Students will be provided with a box that includes all of their supplies that will be for their use only. Any time supplies need to be used by other students they will be sanitized and isolated for 72 hours before being reused.

• The playground equipment will not be available for use at this time.

• Students will be in cohorts that use their assigned classroom or outside space so as to limit mixing of groups and space.

• Students will be encouraged and supported in keeping their supplies in a designated container that they can decorate and in maintaining the cleanliness of their workspace.

• Should anyone exhibit COVID-19 symptoms on campus, they will be quarantined in Room 111 (previously used for Native Hebrew classes). Parents/guardians will be called and they must pick up that student immediately.

• Should a student, a staff member, or household member of either, be diagnosed with COVID-19, or come into contact with someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19, that person must notify Wornick’s main office at health@wornickjds.org as soon as possible and at the maximum within 12 hours of notice of the same. That person will be required to self-isolate for 14 days. The school will notify the San Mateo County Health Department and work with them to determine what appropriate steps should be taken. Any person required to self-isolate may return to Wornick when they have met the CDC criteria to end selfisolation and received clearance from Wornick to return. A doctor’s note may be required.

• Should a student or staff member have another communicable disease (such as Strep, Conjunctivitis), they are required to advise the Wornick main office at 650.378.2600 or health@wornickjds.org. A doctor’s note will be required to return to campus.

A sample case scenario is described below. Every situation has unique circumstances and the school will consult with our health and safety team to determine the best course of action in each case, so the class may open sooner or be closed longer depending on the circumstances.

C. Face Coverings/Masks The State of California and County of San Mateo currently require the wearing of face coverings for persons above the age of 2. Cloth masks are required of all students and staff. There are no exceptions. “There is widely accepted research that wearing a face covering is highly effective in reducing community spread of COVID-19.” See, SMCOE, Pandemic Recovery Framework, page 27.

San Mateo County Health Officer, Scott Morrow, defines a face covering as a covering made of cloth, fabric, or other soft or permeable material, without holes, that covers only the nose and mouth and surrounding areas of the lower face.

Wornick requires that face coverings be 3 ply, cotton, and laundered and clean for the student to wear each day. It is advisable for students to have enough face coverings to last as long as is necessary until the next time they will be laundered. All students must keep 3 extra face coverings in their backpack or at school. Wornick will maintain a supply of disposable adult and pediatric masks, but this supply is not meant to be abused. It is the responsibility of every family to come to school prepared and wearing a face covering every day.

We recommend that parents involve their child(ren) in picking out a style of face covering that feels comfortable to them, as well as designs that interest them. Allowing choice and empowering them to be a part of the process will be so helpful to their success in wearing them.

Wornick teachers will be using microphone “Redcat” systems in the classroom to assist them in projecting their voices while teaching.

D. Physical Distancing Students will be organized into stable cohorts to minimize mixing of group members with others.

Their desks are set up to be 6 feet apart, and they will be instructed to maintain distancing between themselves and their peers. These cohorts may have more than one teacher during the day, but their day will be structured to minimize movement and reduction of exposure to others. Outdoor learning spaces will be utilized, particularly in leveled classes for Hebrew and Math.

Lockers in middle school and cubbies in the lower school will not be used, as it would be difficult to maintain sufficient physical distancing. Virtual lessons for specialty subjects may take place as appropriate to limit exposure across cohorts.

Hot lunch will take place but it will be delivered to students to assist in maintaining physical distancing. With parents not on campus at this time, we will not be having hot lunch volunteers for now.

Teachers and staff will be encouraging other modes of connection, such as air high-five’s and elbow bumps to help empower them to opt for alternative, and positive, modes of interaction that support physical distancing. We encourage parents to brainstorm with their child(ren) in ways that they can think of as well, so that students are empowered to find ways to connect in a safe manner.

E. Limited Gatherings The instruction of students is not considered a gathering. However, the following activities will be limited or modified to limit gatherings: • Havdallah, T’fillah, and Kabbalat Shabbat will take place over Zoom and each cohort will participate in their classrooms rather than all together.

• Staff and other meetings will take place remotely.

• Community events will be modified and/or take place remotely.

• Currently, after-school sports programs will not be taking place.

• There will be no early morning care. We are still evaluating the Gesher after school program.

• PE will be limited to non-contact activities that can take place with physical distancing.

F. In Person Schedules At this time, Wornick plans to open remotely on August 25, 2020. We will update the community when we will be able to open in person. When we open in person, there is an option to learn via distance learning for those families that continue to shelter in place.

Prior to opening for in person learning, families will receive an assigned staggered drop off between 8-9am and pick up time between 2:45-3:45pm (on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays). Families will be given an opportunity to express their preference, however, we cannot make any guarantees and we appreciate your flexibility in making this work. For example, if you are assigned the earliest drop off time at 8am, your pick up time would be 2:45pm. If you drop off time is 8:15am, your pick up time would be 3pm. If your drop off time is 8:45 am, your pick up time is 3:45pm. Pickup will be between 12-1pm on Wednesdays and 2:15 and 3:15pm on Fridays.

In all other respects, the daily schedule for students will mirror the schedules they received for remote learning.

Hybrid Remote Learning If your family wishes to continue to shelter in place when in person learning opens, there will be a hybrid distance learning option. Your student will be provided with login information to access the classroom via Zoom that will be the same link used during remote learning. Teachers will arrange for materials to be available for pickup on the Thursday before the following week when the materials will be needed. Please keep in mind that learning environments are fluid and classes may not use the materials in the exact order they are provided as the teacher adjusts for the needs of the students.

Importantly, if a child who is attending in person learning exhibits any symptoms of illness and is required to stay at home, said student can stay home and can continue learning via this hybrid option.

This system of teaching both in person students and students accessing the classroom remotely will be new, to both our teachers and our students. Please know that there will likely be areas of improvement and adjustment as we all learn together. We appreciate your patience and understanding in this process.

Travel Policy If you or any member of your household has traveled by airplane or you have a guest visiting who traveled by airplane, you must keep your students at home for ten days. Please advise us at health@wornickjds.org. Any member of your household who travelled must produce a negative test between 3-7 days after the return flight. You will require clearance from school prior to having your student return to in person learning.

Understanding Risks What we will be embarking upon, should we be able to return to in person learning, is a measured attempt to provide in person education for our students, while minimizing risks. We cannot guarantee no risks and it is possible the pandemic could affect our community.

Notification of Exposure or Cases in Our Community In such an event where cases of COVID-19 require us to close our physical building (as determined in consultation with the county health department), or county orders require building closure, families will be notified via the One Call Now system and/or email that we will need to return to remote learning. Communications for specific types of cases are discussed in section “Testing and Tracing”. Please see Appendix A for sample communications.

Testing and Tracing A. Testing

According to guidance provided by the California Department of Public Health on August 3, 2020, school staff should be tested periodically by their primary care provider or by referring teachers to a community testing site, as testing capacity permits and as practicable. “Examples of recommended frequency include all staff being tested over 2 months, where 25% of staff are tested every 2 weeks, or 50% every month to rotate which staff members are tested over time. If the county is not on the state’s monitoring list when a school or school district reopens to in person instruction, but is later placed on that list, schools should begin testing staff, or increase frequency of staff testing. The schools are not required to close under this scenario.”

Wornick is instituting a surveillance testing plan to address the possibility of asymptomatic cases in our professional community. Wornick is contracting with a third party service, Kyla, to provide regular testing on our campus for all teachers and staff who plan to be on site. Our goal is to have all staff who are on campus tested on a two week basis. This is contingent on our ability to retain a sustained third party service that can provide regular testing with results delivered on a reasonable timeline. In the event that Wornick is not able to retain or sustain a third party weekly testing provider for staff, for whatever reason, it will meet the minimum standard of ensuring all staff are tested over the course of two months, ensuring that at least 25% of staff are tested every two weeks. In addition, Wornick will provide resources for families who wish to engage in regular surveillance testing parallel to our professional testing efforts.

B. Contact Tracing and Response

Pursuant to the California Department of Health and the San Mateo County of Education Pandemic Recovery Framework, Wornick will follow the below recommendations: • Students, teachers, and staff presenting with any COVID-19 symptoms will be sent home immediately. They will be separated from others in Room 111 until they go home.

• Wornick will connect affected individuals with nearby testing resources.

• If there is a confirmed positive case: • The Head of School will communicate with the Office of the County Superintendent, who can then contact San Mateo County Health department.

• Work with the infected individual to confirm they are under medical care and have a plan to self isolate according to the CDC’s protocol.

• Confirm that other members of the household who are also part of the school community remain at home in self-quarantine per County Health guidelines.

• Take immediate measures to sanitize and disinfect the school property impacted by the case.

• Determine whether disinfecting measures can be implemented without temporarily closing the school campus or if temporary closure is necessary. Continue to consult with the County Superintendent and County Health officials as needed.

• Communicate with the school community that a confirmed case has been identified and outline the actions being taken to ensure a safe return to school.

• Maintain privacy of health and medical information for all individuals at all times per the ADA and FERPA laws.

• Once steps of the protocol are completed, resume school operations.

• Wornick will connect affected individuals with nearby testing resources.

• If a student, teacher, or staff member is confirmed to have been in close contact with someone who is confirmed positive for COVID-19: • Confirm that the person in close contact and other members of the household who are also part of the school community remain at home in self-quarantine per County Health guidelines.

• Take immediate measures to sanitize and disinfect the school property impacted by the Close Contact.

• Determine whether cleaning measures can be implemented without temporarily closing the school campus or if temporary closure is necessary.

• Continue to consult with County Health officials as needed.

• Communicate with the school community that a confirmed Close Contact has been identified and outline the actions being taken to ensure a safe return to school.

• Maintain privacy of health and medical information for all individuals at all times per the ADA and FERPA laws.

• Prevent discrimination against students who (or whose families) were or are diagnosed with COVID-19.

• Once steps of the protocol are completed, resume school operations.

• Wornick will connect affected individuals with nearby testing resources.

• If the community has individuals who suspect they may have been in contact with someone who has been exposed: • The school will gather enough information from the individual to confirm their status.

• Advise said individual to continue practicing hygiene protocols and to closely monitor their health, staying alert to onset of fever or flu-like symptoms.

• If the person is not feeling well or is experiencing cold, flu, or other symptoms, they should stay home from school or work and contact their primary care provider.

• Wornick will connect affected individuals with nearby testing resources.

As part of its contact tracing, you should be notified by Public Health. In the meantime, San Mateo County Health advises that [you/your child] immediately quarantine to the greatest extent possible, even if [you/they] are asymptomatic. In addition, please work with your healthcare provider to schedule testing as soon as possible. Be sure to let the provider know that [you/your child] has had a direct exposure through this cohort. Information and links to testing sites are available from the County of San Mateo.

At this point in time, there is no laboratory-confirmed case in your child’s [class/cohort]. We will update you with any additional pertinent information when we receive it. Addendum for Middle School In preparation for Middle School we have made the following updates to our health and safety program:

• While the county remains in the purple tier, Middle School classes will take place in the outdoor classroom tents.

• We have converted an upstairs staff bathroom to be used for students to reduce the number of students using bathrooms with the addition of 7th and 8th grade students for in person learning.

• We have moved most of our elementary students (TK, K, 3, 4, and 5) to the western entrance of our campus and allocated the eastern entrance for middle school students and 1st and 2nd grade students.

• We have adjusted the entrances into our physical building to reduce the use of upstairs hallways in anticipation of our Middle School students joining us.

• We have built additional outdoor learning spaces to accommodate additional cohorts returning to campus.

• While the county remains in the purple tier, the student testing program requires twice monthly COVID-19 test to reduce the possibility of asymptomatic students entering campus in addition to our current health and safety program. The student COVID-19 testing program complements a weekly staff testing program that has been in place since the middle of August.

• We reinforced health and safety training for our Middle School teachers in early October in anticipation of students return.

Rainy Day Protocols Unexpected rain scenario • Leveled Middle School Math and Hebrew will be on Zoom.

• Lower school Hebrew will meet in their cohorts in their assigned classroom with native and non-native students together.

Anticipated rain scenario • Students in 6th through 8th grade will learn remotely to maximize their learning experience.

• Parents will be notified by 7:00 pm the day beforehand and hot lunch will be credited to your account if you have ordered for that day.

Addendum for All School New Guidelines for Air Travel as of April 14, 2021 The CDC and the California Department of Public Health recently revised their guidance around air travel. In light of data coming out that supports that vaccinated individuals do not have a high likelihood of transmitting the disease, our Health and Safety Committee has advised that we adopt these new guidelines into our Health and Safety protocols.

Please review the scenarios below: • Fully vaccinated individuals do not have to quarantine post air travel.

• If an unvaccinated student is a close contact of a fully vaccinated individual who has traveled domestically by air, the student does not need to quarantine.

• If an unvaccinated student is within close contact of an unvaccinated individual who has traveled domestically by air within the past 7 days, the student needs to quarantine for 7 days and test 3-5 days after initial contact, or return on-campus after 10 days with no test.

• If an unvaccinated student travels by air, the student needs to quarantine for 7 days and test 3-5 days after initial contact, or return on-campus after 10 days with no test.

• For international travel by a fully vaccinated individual in your household or a fully vaccinated close contact, please review the current CDC guidelines.

In all of these scenarios, we ask that you consider self-quarantine if you or a close contact has traveled from a high-risk area (domestic or international). Along with all of these changes, we urge families to continue following all CDC guidelines which still include limiting gatherings, mask wearing and social distancing.

Third Party Testing No home tests are allowed for student testing and student testing must be done with a third party vendor. The science does not currently show that the efficacy of these tests are sufficient for asymptomatic cases and routine testing.
