Our in-house LNG experts developed an optimized LNG FSRU jetty topside layout.

The Vladivostok project needed technical knowledge of process plant design, LNG technologies, plant layout and construction techniques requiring an LNG design Proyekt package for Russian State expert review.

Starting in 1995, we have supported Woodside as operator of the North West Shelf Joint Venture. This has included brownfield support to offshore facilities and onshore LNG plants, design and EPCM delivery of new LNG trains, new offshore platforms and, more recently, large life extension programs.

The resource infrastructure project needed to be fast-tracked with critical interfaces with marine structures designers.

Worley delivered a fit-for-purpose project well within the customer’s challenging schedule, exceeding their expectations. We also kept people safe, managed multiple interfaces and supported the construction process, while ensuring the project met regulatory requirements.

Our LNG team achieved a 10-month FEED package delivery schedule with zero lost time incidents and received Russian regulatory approval on first submission.

Our proven technical experience in this region has meant that we are able to provide project management services to other LNG projects such as Yamal LNG, Arctic LNG-2 and Sakhalin LNG.

Our relationship with Woodside and many of our other customers, with 230 international alliances, have grown from strength to strength over the years as we help them optimize common critical issues such as budget, schedule, operating reliability and technical integrity.

Understanding customer needs through our impressive in-house collaboration

From project conception, our resource infrastructure team will work with customers to identify preferred sites. We develop site layouts and master plans that take advantage of the natural features of the site and minimize development costs.

The environmental, social and geoscience teams support the approval process and comprehensive site assessment, while the marine and coastal, water and power teams can provide comprehensive, innovative and cost effective solutions for development of essential non-process infrastructure. The integration of our resource infrastructure team with our LNG experts enables us to find innovation and efficiency in the nonprocess components through enhanced understanding of the core development needs.
