4. Developing local communities We are committed to developing local communities. We have offshore wind experts working from centres of excellence around the world. Wherever there is a new offshore wind opportunity, we are there. In the UK, we assisted in the installation of more than 1,250 offshore wind turbines. Through our inspection services, we also helped to maintain over 70% of offshore turbines in this region. This helped to keep the lights on for the equivalent of 3.15 million UK homes.
