Did you know that baby goats were called “kids” before children were? Maybe that’s because goat kids stand up soon after they’re born and can climb and jump at two weeks old! You can help human kids have nutritious milk to drink, healthy food to eat, and more income to buy necessities by giving a goat to a family that lives in poverty.

Goats & Quackers is five ducks and two goats that can provide meat, eggs, milk, and income for the farmers who raise them. When you give Goats & Quackers, you help families around the world earn income to sustain them during “the hungry time,” just before harvest, when food is scarce and costs more. 5 ducks + 2 goats = a lifechanging gift for a family!
400588
$11
Duck eggs are larger than the eggs that chickens lay, and they provide a farm family with good protein for better health. In fact, some duck eggs weigh more than the mother duck! Raising ducks helps families earn income all year. The profit they make from selling extra eggs can be used to buy necessary items like soap or shoes. Ducks make egg-cellent gifts!

Did you know that the color of a chicken’s eggs is generally the same as the color of their earlobes? Chickens with red earlobes lay brown eggs, and those with white earlobes lay white eggs. But no matter the color, all eggs are delicious and nutritious. With your gift of 1 chicken or a whole flock, a family in need can earn income year-round by starting a low-cost home business selling eggs.
400483
$15 $10

Eggs are a good source of protein for children and adults, and extra eggs can be sold for income to help families buy medicine or pay school tuition. To hatch baby chicks to grow a flock, a rooster is needed to fertilize the eggs. Your gift of a rooster helps families in need create positive change, and that’s something to crow about!
400867

Farmers know that it’s extra important to keep poultry clean and dry. In the tropics, the rainy season causes flooding that breeds diseases. A 2-by-5-foot chicken coop helps farmers control bacteria, parasites, and illnesses. Your gift of a chicken coop helps families earn more income from their hard work.

IN ROSE’S SMALL community in Uganda, most people work as farmers and raise animals to provide for their families. Rose, 74, is a mother and grandmother who has been able to support her family thanks to her goats.
About 15 years ago, World Renew and one of our local partners started a sustainable agriculture and food security project in Rose’s community. Several women, including Rose, were each given a goat and training to help increase their incomes.
Goats are a helpful resource for families struggling with food security: goat milk provides nourishment and income, and goat droppings help crops grow. Goats can reproduce quickly and often give birth to twins or triplets, which multiplies opportunities for families who raise them.
“Before the project intervention, I did not own animals,” Rose shares, adding that her family struggled to meet their basic needs and were often able to afford only one meal a day.
But things changed as Rose cared for her goat, which multiplied to a herd of 28 goats at one point. “Recently, I sold six goats to pay school fees (for my grandchildren) and to construct a two-room permanent house,” Rose shares.
Rose’s family now enjoys better food security thanks to her goats. “Now I have enough to eat throughout the year,” she shares. “My household has at least three meals a day.”
“Now I have enough to eat throughout the year.”
Because of this, she was even able to gift one of her baby goats to a neighbor struggling with food security.
When you donate a goat, you’re helping people like Rose chase their dreams and build a brighter future for their families and communities.

Goats and chickens make great friends who love to hang out together. In fact, chickens peck around the goat pen looking for bugs to eat and fluff up their bedding! When you give a Friendship Pack to families in need, they can raise four chickens and a goat that help them earn more income.

When a family receives a sow from World Renew, they can breed it and sell the piglets to other farmers who also raise them for income. The family who receives the sow gives a piglet from the first litter to help another family start a pig-raising business. Your gift of a pig benefits a whole community!
400452
Have you ever seen a rabbit “binky?” It’s when they hop, twist, and kick their feet in the air with happiness! Raising rabbits helps farmers earn a steady income quickly because rabbits can birth four litters of babies a year. Give one rabbit, or give three rabbits, to help a farmer get a quick start in raising rabbits. Then “binky” with happiness!
400487

Raising a piglet helps a person with few job opportunities earn much-needed income. Piglets grow fast and can be sold for a profit in just a few months. When they’re born, piglets weigh a few pounds and in six months, with good food and care, they average 250 pounds. The gift of one small piglet can be the start of something big!

$2,515 $255
When you give the herd, you give one of each animal in the catalog: a goat, a pig, a piglet, and a rabbit. These animals help families raise more food, eat nutritiously, and earn more income. 400570

AMANDA, 17, LIVES with her maternal grandparents in a small town in Nigeria. Amanda’s grandparents, who raised her, say she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy when she was six months old and relies solely on others to feed, bathe, clothe, and even to help her to move. Her grandparents do not earn enough as farmers to be able to afford to buy Amanda a wheelchair or to enroll her in a special school that could provide her the support and care she needs.
As Amanda grew, it became more and more difficult for her grandparents to lift her and carry her around. By the age of six, Amanda had to spend most days in her room. This made life difficult and miserable for her.
After World Renew and our local partner learned about the struggles Amanda and her grandparents were facing, the team gifted Amanda a wheelchair. Although Amanda can neither speak nor hear, the smile on her face when she was wheeled out of the house in her wheelchair for the first time expressed all the joy she felt.
Your donation of a wheelchair provides someone with mobility challenges like Amanda the freedom to move, participate in daily activities, and engage with their family and community.
“the smile on her face when she was wheeled out of the house in her wheelchair for the first time expressed all the joy she felt."
Amanda’s grandfather shares, “I appreciate World Renew and the donors for putting a smile on Amanda’s face and making life a little easier for us. The wheelchair is a big relief for us all.”

You can give a person living with a disability a chance to live a fulfilling, productive life with the gift of mobility. A wheelchair improves daily life and gives a person access to education and work, along with dignity, and respect from their family and community. 400567

A simple hand tool helps a farmer get the field work done. Green manure is a natural compost that enriches the soil, a jab planter is a tool to sow seeds, and a loop hoe is for weeding and turning the soil. When you give all 3 tools for farming, a family can grow enough food to eat every day, sell extra produce to pay for essentials, and improve their diet and nutrition.
400804

$95
In tropical climates, the sun's rays are harsh and can quickly wilt tender plants. Your gift of a shade net or greenhouse protects farmer’s crops from heat stress, helps increase production, and results in better prices at the market. Greenhouses or shade nets also protect crops from insects and birds.

Traditional foods like rice and corn provide calories, but a more nutritious diet is needed for long-term good health. Your gift of a packet of vegetable seeds provides a family with spinach, beans, carrots, tomatoes, and other fresh produce with the nutrients they need for a longer, healthier life. Just a handful of seeds can help families grow their way to a better, healthier life.

TWO POWERFUL earthquakes devastated central Myanmar in March 2025, World Renew stepped in to help survivors rebuild their lives.
World Renew Asia staff began working on the ground in the aftermath, coordinating with local partners to deliver food and other essentials to vulnerable people. One of our partners worked tirelessly to pack boxes of food and hygiene items for 200 households in hard-hit Mandalay. “Families who received the assistance were so happy,” a partner staff member* said.
One man* shared that his home was severely damaged from the earthquake. He began looking for resources to make repairs and feed his family of six. Then hope arrived in the form of essential items distributed by World Renew and our partners. Speaking in April, the man said, “When I received the relief goods, I was so thankful. My family is now assured to have food for at least two weeks, and I can focus on looking for means to repair our house.”
When you give to World Renew’s International Disaster Response programs, you help meet immediate needs in the midst of crisis and provide long-term support for the future.
