TANKOA YACHTS’ LATEST DAZZLING FULL CUSTOM SUPERYACHT

Signed in 2021 and delivered in the summer of 2024, Diamond Binta is a stunning fusion of innovation and elegance, showcasing the latest achievement from the renowned Tankoa Yachts shipyard in Italy. Unveiled to widespread acclaim at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show, this 58-metre embodies bespoke craftsmanship, where every detail – from her refined exterior to her sophisticated interiors – reflects the art of boutique yacht building.

Diamond Binta is a full-custom yacht created for an owner already familiar with the refined expertise of Tankoa Yachts, having previously owned the 50-meter S501 Binta d’Or. The vision behind the creation of Diamond Binta was clear and ambitious: to build a larger yacht, designed for long-range cruising, with a unique and distinctive style that fully expressed the owner’s personality and needs.

To bring the owner's vision to life, the shipyard partnered again with Francesco Paszkowski Design studio to capture a beautiful, timeless and understated mood for the yacht both inside and out. Guided by Tankoa's boutique approach to building and the shipyard’s constant striving for perfection in quality, the result is a harmonious fusion of form and function, where refined design seamlessly merges with exceptional functionality.

Collaboration between the shipyard, the owner, and the design team was key, generating a synergy that is evident in every aspect of the final product. For Diamond Binta, the process began not with a blank slate but with a revisitation of the owner's evolving tastes and aspirations, as they were already a longstanding client of the yard. Francesco Paszkowski, leading the overall design with the collaboration of Margherita Casprini on the interiors, steered the project to align perfectly with the owner's vision.

Project 714: Another masterpiece leaves the construction shed

Feadship announced another milestone as Project 714, a true gentlemen’s yacht, emerges from the shed at the Aalsmeer facility.

At 79.95 metres in length, this striking vessel is now ready to undergo final outfitting and sea trials, setting the stage for an exceptional addition to the Feadship fleet.

Project 714 features an exterior design by RWD. Her sculpted curves and striking blue hull capture the essence of sophistication and style.

Seeing double: Moonrise exits the shed

The newly unveiled Moonrise is an impressive 101.00-metre yacht in build at the Feadship facility in Makkum.

A refined evolution of her predecessor – also called Moonrise, delivered in 2020 and allegedly one of the most admired yachts around the 100-metre mark – the new Moonrise carries forward the same graceful design traits, from the sleek exterior lines and powerful vertical bow to the elegant paintwork in grey and snowwhite tones.

Although the two vessels share similar exterior lines by Studio De Voogt and sophisticated interior designs by Rémi Tessier, the new Moonrise incorporates numerous technological enhancements as well as many design refinements that enhance the beauty and functionality of the yacht.

On the opening day of the Dubai International Boat Show, Oceanco unveiled its latest Beyond Custom design: 101m LILY. Designed by Vripack, LILY is created for visionaries and trailblazers.

Yachts unveils bespoke luxury with the launch of the 45m full-custom superyacht SAN

Designed inside and out by Sinot Yacht Architecture & Design with naval architecture by Lateral Naval Architects, 45-metre SAN represents a highly innovative feat of bespoke engineering and design by maintaining a sleek profile and constant visual contact with the sea while enhancing interior living spaces and onboard comfort.

SAN features an expansive main deck aft with shaded sofa seating and terraced steps leading down to sunpads and folding bulwarks to expand the beach club area in the stern. The exterior deck furniture is multi-functional and can be adapted for al fresco dining, cocktail settings or sunbathing.

The hi-lo teak dining table, for example, can be used as a coffee table or raised and extended for proper dining. On the foredeck is another large sunpad and accompanying table, which can also be lowered and covered with fill-in cushions to further increase the lounging space. Hidden away under the foredeck is a tender garage and dedicated crane.

SAN’s streamlined,coupé-style exterior lines were the starting point for the designers. The client wanted the profile to appear as low in the water as possible, but once on board it had to feel like a superyacht, not a speedboat. The raised pilothouse configuration makes the most efficient use of available space, but even the wheelhouse has been pared down to occupy the least volume possible while still remaining functional. Inside, it resembles an airplane cockpit.

“The main challenge on a yacht of this size and volume is that every square centimetre had to be optimized,” says Paul Costerus, Sinot’s Senior Yacht Designer and Project Manager. “While developing the layout we had to push the boundaries everywhere while taking care that you could still move around the boat comfortably, so the ergonomics were important too.”

Cantieri Di Pisa unveils the new interiors of Akhir 44 at the Dubai International Boat Show

Cantieri di Pisa presented the interiors of the new Akhir 44 with Pulina Exclusive Interiors, whose design features contrasts between warm materials like bleached oak and cool metal and steel finishes give the yacht a sporty and technological look. The presentation was organized at the Dubai International Boat Show, the most important in the Middle East. The Dubai International Boat Show was an opportunity for Cantieri di Pisa to present the interiors of the new Akhir 44 in collaboration with their designer Pulina Exclusive Interiors. The yacht’s exterior styling, on the other hand, is by Antonio Luxardo, the Yard’s chief designer. “The first model in the new series, which will be built in carbon and glass composite and reach a top speed of 35 knots, will combine the iconic lines of the original range with various characteristics designed to meet current market demand,” explained Cantieri di Pisa CEO Marco Massabò. “We decided to commission these interiors featuring incredible liveability from Pulina, the high-end Italian design firm with a multi-disciplinary approach. The yacht’s spaces offer maximum comfort, understated elegance and a unique on-board experience for cosmopolitan owners attracted by a brand that helped write the history of yachting and is still a force for innovation in the industry today, not least thanks to its collaboration with such illustrious partners.”

Sialia Yachts, which made a splash in 2022 with the launch of its stunning 57-foot all-electric performance cruiser named Deep Silence, unveiled its latest model, the Sialia 45 Sport, earlier this year, continuing a seismic shift in the leisure boating sector.

Imagine a 14-metre full-specced performance cruiser capable of more than 40 knots, featuring all mod cons, exceptional interior and deck spaces, and a range that could take you from Monaco to St Tropez or Miami to Key Largo at 25 knots. Sialia Yachts’ new models open up new worlds and new possibilities for zero-emission boating without compromise.

“No one does anything like Sialia Yachts in the 13-35 metre range,” begins Milvio Ricci, Chief Commercial Officer at Sialia Yachts. “No one does planing boats with nocompromise–andwedon’tcompareourselvestootherelectricboats,because nothingelselikeaSialiaYachtexistsinthissphere!”

The Sialia 45 offers scintillating performance while still delivering impressive range. The twin 300kW motors can drive the 45 to a top speed of 43 knots, while a fast cruise of 25 knots allows for a range of 55 nautical miles with the standard 500kWh battery pack, or 77 miles with the additional 200kWh endurance battery pack.

A biodiesel-compatible 140kW range extender can also be specced to push range out to 142 or 164 nautical miles respectively, and with fast-charging capability topping up the batteries from 10% to 90% in three hours even with the endurance pack added, there’s no longer any reason to have range anxiety, or to compromise the extent of your cruising grounds by wanting to cruise faster.

GIANGI RAZETO, an Imagination Guru

Born in Camogli, Genova, in 1969 Giangi Razeto is a Creative Designer, an Imagination Guru, a Trend Hunter and a Vision Sculptor.

Graduated in Sociology with a dissertation titled “Communication among Youths in clubs” he has been working for the University of Genova, studying the “Club Cultures” and “The Leisure Societies”.

From his studies Giangi has developed his own theories of “Patchwork Generations” and “Tribe of Ones among Similars”. All his work as has always been driven by these concepts. Since 2015 Giangi has been dedicating himself to sculpture, expressing the contradictions of our times, between reinvented emoticons and ancestral figures revisited in what himself calls “Contemporary Hieroglyphs”.
