TURIN
Turin is a vibrant and dynamic city with plenty of things to see and to do: it boasts over 40 museums as well as the Savoy Royal Residences – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – alongside the Egyptian Museum, the most important museum in the world after the one in Cairo.
Resting at the foot of the hills, embraced by
the course of the river Po, Turin is Italy’s regal city par excellence. You will enjoy two thousand years of architecture along with modern design, contemporary art in its various forms, 18 km of arcades for shopping in the city centre as well as Europe’s largest open-air market.
Turin is famous for its restaurants and historical
cafes, which serve typical food, wine and local specialties, as well as homemade ice cream and infinite varieties of chocolate and pastries. More than 300 km of tree-lined avenues and countless urban and suburban parks will give you the opportunity to walk, run, cycle and rest.
Turin, which has invested in sports and well-being,
provides many opportunities to professionals and sport amateurs. After hosting the 2006 Winter Olympics, from 2021 to 2025 the city will host the ATP Tennis Finals.
Outside the city, Turin is well located and connected to easily reach lakes, mountains and seaside for a day-trip, weekends or longer holidays.
