This publication is the exhibition catalogue from our community art project POSTCARDS FROM THE PANDEMIC. In October 2021 we put out an open call to our community for submissions. These were our submission guidelines: “Your postcard can share any feeling or emotional state that you wish to express, we ask that what you share is a direct response to the pandemic, something that has affected you during this time in a way you hadn’t experienced before, or haven’t experienced to this degree. It can be about joy, regret, loss, longing, confusion, creation - anything that has moved you that you wish to share.” We received submissions; in person at our studio, by email or by uploading to a shared drive. All submissions could be contributed anonymously or with a name. There was no limit on how many postcards participants could create and no upper or age limit. The pages of this book show all the submissions we received.
