There are four growth industries in Will County. We provide career scholarships for occupations in all four industries, which will be briefly reviewed in the slides to follow.

In Will County, employment in the healthcare industry is projected to grow 10% through 2024, much faster than the average for all occupations, creating about 3,000 job openings.

If you would like to attend a program that requires acceptance such as Registered Nurse, you must be accepted into the program and have your acceptance letter prior to beginning the career scholarship process.

TDL jobs are projected to grow 31% through 2024, adding approximately 2,100 new jobs every year. In fact, TDL occupations will add more jobs than most other industries.

There are steps you need to complete before being considered for a career scholarship. A career planner will help you schedule and complete these steps:

1. Testing: Please visit the link to schedule your testing appointment

2. Eligibility Appointment.

3. Meet with a career planner to discuss your training and to schedule Career Certified.

4. Successfully complete the five-day Career Certified course.

5. Meet with your career planner to begin training
