CARICOM Heads Declare Crime and Violence a Public Health Issue

The Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago held a Regional Symposium addressing Crime and Violence as a Public Health Issue, from April 17-18, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency, Trinidad and Tobago. Under the theme, ‘Violence as a Public Health Issue – The Crime Challenge,’ the symposium promoted dialogue and regional action aimed at violence reduction and crime prevention.
