Tunde hits the campaign trail Managing Director Tunde Fafunwa toured Bayan offices around Metro Manila last week to campaign for the company’s mid-year targets and rally employees to accomplish and focus on the task. Together with his “campaign manager” and CBC head John Rojo, Tunde visited employees right in their workplaces and held informal talks that touched on our 200,000 bayanWIRELESS landline subscribers and the P850-M EBITDA targets, and how the company is doing on its way to the goal. Tunde updated the troops about BWL’s on-going expansion and urged employees to intensify their efforts in selling, delivering and collecting. He also made sure that everyone will has learned how to be a BWL advocate by coaching employees how to deal with complaints and what the company is doing to further improve our service. Tunde clarified that the company is now refocusing its priorities, especially in matters of spending, to ensure that we can hit the target. “We spend less, so we can have more money for the BWL expansion,” he said. Employees were pleasantly surprised with Tunde’s personal visit to their work places since they were expecting him to speak in a formal, GA-type setting. They found it more friendly this time, more intimate and it reassured them that Bayan is indeed a communications company, a listening company. And since Bayan is a listening company, Tunde encouraged everyone to utilize every channels — the Tambayan blog, email, suggestions boxes, through their division heads — to ask questions, make suggestions and be involved in our quest to reach our goals. click to view highlights of the campaign
