Welcome to a very special Summer brochure, one where we are celebrating the Swan Theatre’s 60th Anniversary!
The 20th June 2025 will mark 60 years since the Swan Theatre first opened its doors! The team and I here at Worcester Theatres are immensely proud of our venue which has remained at the heart of the community which built it for the last six decades. We know that it is loved and cherished by all those who regularly use and attend the venue. We will be presenting a celebratory variety show, The Summer of ’65, to mark the special occasion and we hope you will join us in celebrating - grab those tickets now, we look forward to seeing you there!
We have also lined up a season full of sensational shows this summer including the best of music, comedy and drama at both our venues. Huntingdon Hall has top names such as Paul Young, Andy Hamilton, Barb Jungr and Mike Sanchez whilst at the Swan Theatre you can enjoy Danny Baker, Scummy Mummies, The Elmer Adventure and Ricky Tomlinson in Irish Annie’s.
The summer also brings with it our annual much loved outdoor theatre production at The Commandery, this year we are producing an adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility, to celebrate her 250th Birthday. The perfect excuse for popping the prosecco and joining us in the delightful gardens for an evening of light entertainment!
