Registration for our Men's Opening Event Begins on Monday, March 25th!
Don't miss out on our men's opening event! Â Registration for the Men's Orange Blossom Tournament will be available on Monday, March 25th at 8:00am. Please log onto the club's website or app to register. Click on Orange Blossom on your calendar. This event is a Florida Scramble-team of 4. The Pro Shop will make the pairings. This event will take place on April 20th. Breakfast will be served starting at 8:00am with a 9:30am shotgun. See you on the first tee, The Pro Shop
Save the Date The 2019 Invitational will be August 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
Mark your calendars for Worcester Country Club's Premier Member Guest Event. The 97th playing of The Invitational will be August 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Registrations for this year's event will be done electronically via the Worcester Country Club website only. There will be no applications mailed and registrations cannot be accepted over the phone. Registration will go live on Monday April 8th at 8:00am. Entries will be on a first come, first served basis. The entry fee for this year’s event will be $1,250 per team. The itinerary and details of the event will be available in the registration process. If you have any questions on how to register using the website, please contact the Pro Shop staff before April 8th.
SIGN UP FOR RULES OF GOLF SEMINAR | 2019 CHANGES THURSDAY, MARCH 28TH As I am sure many of you are aware there are significant rules changes for golf for the 2019 season. This year represents the largest number of changes that the USGA and the R&A have made in over 20 years. Please see below an outline of the 20 most common rulings that will be affected. There are many changes that were made but these represent the ones most likely to be dealt with on a regular basis. The golf professional staff will be hosting an informal rules seminar in the clubhouse on Thursday March 28th from 5:00 - 6:30pm. We encourage all who can attend to join us so that you will be well versed with the rule changes for 2019. Please register on the Worcester CC website/App so we can properly prepare for the number that will be in attendance.
TWILITE REGISTRATION Greetings, Registration for the 2019 Men's Twilite League is available online. Cost to register for the 2019 Twilite League will be $120 per player. You may register on the Worcester CC website or on the Worcester CC App. If you choose to register by using the app: ~ click on Golf and Club Events ~ click on List of Events. ~ click the Register tab located next to the Twilite registration. If registering by the website: ~ click on the Member Central tab ~ click on Calendar ~ Registration can be completed by clicking on the Twilite link located on the calendar on March 11th. Once you have clicked on the event, it will prompt you to complete the registration. Please mark your calendars: Twilite Reveal Night ~ April 4th at 6:00pm Twilite Opening Week ~ April 16th -Play begins at 4:30pm every Tuesday. How to add your Photo to the Member Listing using the App & Website Using the App Go to Member Listing, To the right of your name click on the 3 dots, Edit, Photo options, Change Photo, Save.
Using the Website Go to Member Central, Member Listing, Select your Profile on the right, Click on Edit, Change Photo, Save. Once you hit Save, an email is sent to the Club requesting approval of the picture. Once it is approved, it will appear on the Member Listing. Your saved picture is stored in your Membership Profile in our system. Your photo will also appear in our point of sale system which will assist our servers in identifying the correct Member when taking orders. WCC “Kids Committee” Why a “Kids Committee”? As us adults get together to plan activities for the Club, we realized it would be much easier if we went right to the source...why not ask our WCC kids what they would like to have for activities and special events along with what should be on our Kids Menu? These are just a few of the things we can discuss when we get together as a committee. If you would like to be on our WCC Kids Committee please join us for our free Pizza and Sundae “Kick-Off” meeting at 12:30 on Sunday May 5th. All children, ages 6 to 16 are welcome. This is a kids only meeting! Here are Two Just for You! #1 Change your Classification from Social Membership to Active Membership and Pay No Initiation Fee Through May 31, 2019 All Social Members who have been Members for 3 years or longer may move up to Active Member classification with no initiation fee. As is normally the practice, when a Social Member moves to Active Membership they would pay the initiation fee difference from when they joined Club to the current initiation fee.
#2 Children of Members 26 Years or Older Pay No Initiation Fee Through May 31, 2019 This program is for Members with children 26 years of age or older Now is the time for them to come and experience all that WCC has to offer and enjoy it together with their families and pay no initiation fee. Download the WCC App Type Worcester Country Club into the search bar in your App store and select it to download 1. You must be registered on the WCC Website in order to login to the WCC App. 2. You will use the same user name and password to login to the WCC App that Text placeholder you use to login to the WCC Website. 3. Once you download and login to the WCC App you do not need to log out of it unless you wish to. 4. Your device may ask if you wish to receive push notifications. Push notifications are messages from the Club that will show up on your device. You can check to see if your device is set to receive them under the settings of your device.
