WORCESTER CC WEEKLY A Worcester Country Club Communication
NEWS FROM THE PRO SHOP Twilite Reveal Night will take place virtually next Wednesday, April 8th at 6:00pm. Details on how to log into the virtual meeting will be emailed on Monday to the Twilite league participants. We understand schedules and dates for golf related events will need to be adjusted and once we have a better idea as to when golf can resume, an updated schedule will be shared at that time. We are trying to do what we can right now to be best prepared for when the season does begin. The World Handicapping System Seminar Scheduled for April 9th and the New Member Orientation scheduled for April 15th have both been postponed. We feel that both of these events would be better served if we can do them in person. We will reschedule as soon as it is proper to do so. A few weeks back before the situation escalated we had hosted a golf fitness seminar at the club. In light of people staying at home and many people are now less active than just a few weeks ago, the content of the seminar is even more valuable. We will be doing the seminar again in a remote setting on Saturday, April 11th from 10:00am until 11:30am. Please register on the website and you will be sent a link to log into the virtual seminar. Registration for that event will be available until 5:00pm on Friday, April 10th.

Are you ready for Spring Golf? What: Video seminar When: Saturday, April 11th 10:00AM - 11:30AM Hosted By: Allan Belden, PGA Head Golf Professional Topic: This seminar will share ideas on how you can best prepare your body, and more specifically, your back for the upcoming golf season. All too often we see injuries occur as players rush to the first tee with excitement after spending the winter being inactive. In light of the fact that many are now housebound because of the Coronavirus, the content of this seminar is even more relevant. We will share with you activities and stretching routines that you can do at home. By doing so you can prevent injury and optimize your golf game once the season begins. The cost is free and a link to the invitation to the virtual seminar will be sent to your email inbox approximately 15 minutes prior to the start. Please sign up on the Website | App.
