Congratulations to Mark Aldrich!

We are very happy to announce that our First Assistant Golf Professional, Mark Aldrich, PGA, has accepted the position of Head Golf Professional at the Whitinsville Golf Club. Mark is very excited to be joining our own Shaun Mitchell as their new Superintendent. The pair will certainly make for a great duo in serving the members of Whitinsville. Mark has been a dedicated member of the professional staff and has always served the members to the highest level. Mark has always shown a high level of dedication and unwavering passion that has put him in the very top tier of the professionals in our section. He will certainly be missed but we are very pleased to be able to share in the next chapter of Mark’s professional career.

"It is with great excitement and enthusiasm that I am announcing that I have accepted the position of Head Golf Professional at Whitinsville Golf Club. I want to thank the members of Worcester Country Club for such a wonderful experience and for the opportunity to grow both personally, as well as professionally. I am so very grateful for all of the fond memories that I will take with me. I have made many friendships that will last a lifetime and have enjoyed experiences that will never be forgotten.

I am very much looking forward to this new opportunity to further enhance myself professionally as the Head Professional at Whitinsville Golf Club. This opportunity would not be possible without the tremendous support I have had from the members and staff at Worcester Country Club. GOLF NEWS As I am sure many of you are aware there are significant rules changes for golf for the 2019 season. This year represents the largest number of changes that the USGA and the R&A have made in over 20 years. Please see below an outline of the 20 most common rulings that will be affected. There are many changes that were made but these represent the ones most likely to be dealt with on a regular basis.

The golf professional staff will be hosting an informal rules seminar in the clubhouse on Thursday March 28th from 5:00 - 6:30pm. We encourage all who can attend to join us so that you will be well versed with the rule changes for 2019.

Please register on the Worcester CC website/App so we can properly prepare for the number that will be in attendance.

Download the WCC App Type Worcester Country Club into the search bar in your App store and select it to download 1. You must be registered on the WCC Website in order to login to the WCC App. 2. You will use the same user name and password to login to the WCC App that Text placeholder you use to login to the WCC Website.

3. Once you download and login to the WCC App you do not need to log out of it unless you wish to.

4. Your device may ask if you wish to receive push notifications. Push notifications are messages from the Club that will show up on your device. You can check to see if your device is set to receive them under the settings of your device.

How to complete Dining Reservations using the App & Website 1. When making your dining reservations using the App and Website, please be sure to finish the last step by clicking on Complete Reservation.

2. Please wait for the gear icon to finish processing. Once it has processed you will see the confirmation on the screen. See below for example.

3. You will also receive an email confirmation with a confirmation number to ensure your reservation has completed successfully.

4. You can also check in My Bookings under dining to see your reservations listed there.
