WCC Kid’s Committee Meeting Update Our first meeting was a great success with Aubrey and Avery Salmon in attendance. Their endless supply of ideas will be sure to make WCC even more fun for kids of all ages. The discussions covered many areas including “how to make rainy days fun”.

Here is a list of just some of the new ideas that will be coming your way; 

Toy Story Marathon Weekend and Movie Trip TOY STORY 4 is coming soon! We will be hosting a Toy Story Marathon at the Club and “carpool” movie trip to Showcase Cinema’s North.

Here’s the schedule: 

Toy Story - Friday, June 21 @ 6pm



Toy Story 2 - Saturday, June 22 @ 6pm



Toy Story 3 - Sunday, June 23 @ 6pm



Toy Story 4 - Monday, June 24 @ 6pm (Time may change due to movie schedule)

Each evening we will feature different dinner specials for the kids attending the marathon movies.

Cost is $15++. Each child will also be making a “new friend” craft during each movie as Bonnie does in Toy Story 4.

Mom & Dad’s we need your help on Monday evening to assist with the carpool leaving from WCC the night of the movie which is just minutes from the club at Showcase Cinemas North.

Please make reservations for each evening with Judy (mucciaronej@worcestercc.org) for each marathon movie and the movie trip. Mom’s & Dad’s please email Bill Shaw (shawb@worcestercc.org) if you are able to be a carpool driver.

Surveys Coming Your Way Your House & Activities Committee will be sending out select surveys to Members that attend social events, a la carte dining, holiday events along with those using the pool facilities and more.

Every week or two, surveys will be sent to 6 to 10 attendees (and/or families) that attended the club to enjoy any of the above mentioned areas. We will be sure to reach out to as many Members as possible throughout the season. We are excited to learn from this new survey tool within a very short time from your experience here at the club what you enjoyed, what you think may be a good idea to improve, etc.

You may also receive a survey if you are not visiting the club. We want to know what we can do or what we can offer that may get you to come and visit us more often.

Wearing of White Denim for Women Appropriate During Summer With the opportunity to have a full summer trial last year, it was approved by your Board of Governors to extend the period for the WCC 2019 summer season. (Memorial day weekend through Labor Day weekend).

White denim pants and jackets, (not shorts) which do not have tears, rips, fraying nor is “distressed� are appropriate.

White denim will be allowed throughout the Club property with the exceptions of the golf course and golf practice areas (range and putting green).

TEAM BUILDING GOLF DAYS TAKE YOUR STAFF OUT FOR A DAY OF FUN. JOIN THE WORCESTER CC PROFESSIONAL STAFF FOR A DAY TO INCLUDE GOLF FUNDAMENTALS, GAMES AND FRIENDLY COMPETITIONS!

Putting Contest . - 9-hole putting course will be set up on the practice green Break The Glass . - A station will be set up on the driving range where you can attempt to break the glass Closest To The Pin . - Golfers will have an attempt at hitting a shot as close to the hole as possible The above is an example of some fun and low pressure competitions that can be done. The day can be tailored to your group including a food & beverage component if you desire.

Pricing (based on the 3 options above) 1 option: $20/person - 1 hour ($30 for Break The Glass) 2 options: $40/person - 1.5 hours 3 options: $50/person - 2 hours

Prizes available but not included in above pricing. Prize examples: Gift Certificates, golf balls, lesson certificates.

Worcester Country Club Date: Wednesday, June 5, 2019 Time: 8:00 AM Shotgun Start This is a match play format between Pleasant Valley, Tatnuck, The Haven, and IGC Each Club has 6 players You must play to a 28 handicap or lower to be eligible.

After the last match, all points accumulated (1 point for win, 1/2 point for a half), and the winning club is announced.

Matches are played off of the low in the group at 80% of the difference.
