Easter Reservations CLOSED

Our Staff is very excited to welcome you all for Easter!

With 430+ reservations, Easter Brunch is Sold Out. Reservations begin at 10:30 and continue until 2:30.

In order to accommodate all those attending, we kindly ask that you honor your reservation time. It is very important as we need to reset tables for others.

Caddie training 2019 is taking place this week. We have 60 prospective young men

and women on hand under the guidance of Erik Carlson, PGA Professional.

The 2019 Annual Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund Banquet was held on April 11th at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. With 1,200 people in attendance, many Worcester Country Club Members were on hand to support the Fund!

Orange Blossom Rescheduled!

Greetings, In light of the forecast for heavy rain and torrential downpours for Saturday the Orange Blossom is being postponed until Sunday, April 28th. The timing will remain the same with breakfast at 8:00am and a 9:30am shotgun start. Â Please note that we have created a new Orange Blossom registration on the website and the app for April 28th. You will receive a notification that you have been deleted from the original date as that event has been postponed. Registration for the rescheduled date of April 28th will be available today, Thursday April 18th at 1:00pm.

Everyone wishing to participate must register even if you were registered for the original event. This is so we can get an accurate and updated count of those who will be playing. Any questions, please contact the Pro Shop. Â Please go the club's website or app and click on April 28th to sign up for the rescheduled Orange Blossom.

Aeration Notification

This is a reminder that the Golf Course will be closed for aeration this coming Monday through Wednesday, April 22rd, 23th & 24th. During this time the driving range will be closed on Monday the 22rd and Tuesday the 23th, and will open on Wednesday the 24th at 12:00 pm.

LOOKING FOR A GAME?

Greetings, The Pro Shop staff is always happy to help in facilitating a game for any member who is looking. This season we will be sending out reminder emails on Friday afternoons for those that may be looking for a game the following day. On any Friday, before a Saturday that there is not already an organized tournament or event, an email will be sent to the members. By simply responding to the email or calling the Pro Shop (508) 853-8064 by 5PM on that Friday we will help to facilitate a game for you.

LADIES LEAGUE REGISTRATION

LADIES LEAGUE REGISTRATION AVAILABLE NOW UNTIL APRIL 30TH

The Women’s Golf League welcomes new or existing members to register for the 18 or 9 hole groups. The annual dues for competing in either the 18 or 9 hole league will be $125. You must have a USGA handicap of 45 or less to play in the 18 hole league. Women without a handicap can play in the 9 hole league until a handicap is established. Any woman wishing to play in any of the major tournaments, who is not a member of the Women’s Golf League, will be charged an appropriate fee.

Please register for the league on the WCC website through the calendar. Click on April 30th to complete your registration.

Pee Wee Clinics Pee Wee clinics are a great way for kids to be introduced to the game of golf.

We will emphasize: - Fundamentals - Fun - Etiquette - Clinics are free of charge - Clubs provided - Available to all children & grandchildren of members The clinic will be broken into 2 age groups: - Ages 2-7: kids will be given an intro to golf with an emphasis on fun and basic golf skills - Ages 8-12: kids will receive basic golf instruction with an emphasis on fun DATES: May 4th, May 11th & May 18th

ALL AGE GROUPS WILL BE FROM 1:00PM-2:00PM

May 7 - Ladies Orange Blossom - ABC Scramble.

May 11 - Governor's Cup Qualifier - Team of 2 best ball. Low 15 to qualify.

May 11 - Four Ball Match Play Championship - Team of 2 medal qualifying at scratch. Low 8 teams qualify for Match Play

WCC “Kids Committee” Why a “Kids Committee”? As us adults get together to plan activities for the Club, we realized it would be much easier if we went right to the source...why not ask our WCC kids what they would like to have for activities and special events along with what should be on our Kids Menu? These are just a few of the things we can discuss when we get together as a committee.

If you would like to be on our WCC Kids Committee please join us for our free Pizza and Sundae “Kick-Off” meeting at 12:30 on Sunday May 5th. All children, ages 6 to 16 are welcome. This is a kids only meeting!

Here are Two Just for You! #1 Change your Classification from Social Membership to Active Membership and Pay No Initiation Fee Through May 31, 2019 All Social Members who have been Members for 3 years or longer may move up to Active Member classification with no initiation fee.

As is normally the practice, when a Social Member moves to Active Membership they would pay the initiation fee difference from when they joined Club to the current initiation fee.

#2 Children of Members 26 Years or Older Pay No Initiation Fee Through May 31, 2019 This program is for Members with children 26 years of age or older Now is the time for them to come and experience all that WCC has to offer and enjoy it together with their families and pay no initiation fee.

Membership Process and Procedures as stated within the green book apply.
