PGA Junior League Update Worcester Country Club has been fortunate to have our young golfers be a part of PGA Junior League Golf for over 6 years. We have seen many young children learn and grow from participating on our PGA JLG team. Although it is still uncertain as to when we will be able to conduct junior league golf in 2020, we are providing you with an update to the PGA Junior League season.

The PGA of America which oversees PGA Junior League has cancelled the 2020 postseason due to the traveling involved. They plan on having a regular season but do not know when that may happen because of the current state guidelines. PGA JLG operates throughout the United States and with guidelines differing from state to state, some may be allowed to start their seasons sooner than others.

As there are many unknowns for the coming weeks we thought it was best to proceed on our own. Worcester CC and the other clubs involved in our league have decided to run our own junior golf league when the state mandates and restrictions allow us to. We feel as though being prepared to commence within our own region as soon as permitted will make more sense and not have us waiting on the national programming. We plan on having inter-club matches with the same teams which include Whitinsville, Oak Hill and The Haven. Once we receive more information and are able to formulate a schedule, we will update the membership.
