LADIES LEAGUE REGISTRATION
LADIES LEAGUE REGISTRATION AVAILABLE NOW UNTIL APRIL 30TH
The Women’s Golf League welcomes new or existing members to register for the 18 or 9 hole groups. The annual dues for competing in either the 18 or 9 hole league will be $125. You must have a USGA handicap of 45 or less to play in the 18 hole league. Women without a handicap can play in the 9 hole league until a handicap is established. Any woman wishing to play in any of the major tournaments, who is not a member of the Women’s Golf League, will be charged an appropriate fee. Please register for the league on the WCC website through the calendar. Click on April 30th to complete your registration.

Mark your calendars for Worcester Country Club's Premier Member Guest Event. The 97th playing of The Invitational will be August 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Registrations for this year's event will be done electronically via the Worcester Country Club website only. There will be no applications mailed and registrations cannot be accepted over the phone. Registration will go live on Monday April 8th at 8:00am. Entries will be on a first come, first served basis. The entry fee for this year’s event will be $1,250 per team. The itinerary and details of the event will be available in the registration process. If you have any questions on how to register using the website, please contact the Pro Shop staff before April 8th.
NEW MEMBER WELCOME GATHERING WEDNESDAY, APRIL 10TH 5:00PM - 6:00PM, GRILL ROOM This will be a casual gathering for new Members to meet the Golf Professional Staff and have an opportunity to ask questions about all aspects of the golf operation. We look forward to meeting all of you and welcoming you to Worcester Country Club. Cocktails, refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served. CONGRATULATIONS TO SAM BRACKETT!
It is with great pleasure that we announce that our own Assistant Professional, Sam Brackett, has attained Class A PGA status. The PGA of America has over 28,000 Class A members and is the largest sports organization in the world. Sam joined the professional staff here at Worcester in 2017. Sam grew up at Hanover Country Club of Dartmouth College where he learned the game from the late Bill Johnson. He graduated from the University of Hartford having won the Conference Championship and played in 2 NCAA Regionals. Currently Sam spends his winter months at the Black Diamond Ranch in Florida. We are very excited for Sam and his attaining his Class A membership. . Please be sure to congratulate him on his milestone when you see him! Allan Belden, Head PGA Professional

May 7 - Ladies Orange Blossom - ABC Scramble. Threesomes. May 11 - Governor's Cup Qualifier - Team of 2 best ball. Low 15 to qualify. May 11 - Four Ball Match Play Championship - Team of 2 medal qualifying at scratch. Low 8 teams qualify for Match Play

How to add your Photo to the Member Listing using the App & Website Using the App Go to Member Listing, To the right of your name click on the 3 dots, Edit, Photo options, Change Photo, Save.
Using the Website Go to Member Central, Member Listing, Select your Profile on the right, Click on Edit, Change Photo, Save. Once you hit Save, an email is sent to the Club requesting approval of the picture. Once it is approved, it will appear on the Member Listing. Your saved picture is stored in your Membership Profile in our system. Your photo will also appear in our point of sale system which will assist our servers in identifying the correct Member when taking orders. WCC “Kids Committee” Why a “Kids Committee”? As us adults get together to plan activities for the Club, we realized it would be much easier if we went right to the source...why not ask our WCC kids what they would like to have for activities and special events along with what should be on our Kids Menu? These are just a few of the things we can discuss when we get together as a committee. If you would like to be on our WCC Kids Committee please join us for our free Pizza and Sundae “Kick-Off” meeting at 12:30 on Sunday May 5th. All children, ages 6 to 16 are welcome. Here are Two Just for You! #1 Change your Classification from Social Membership to Active Membership and Pay No Initiation Fee Through May 31, 2019 All Social Members who have been Members for 3 years or longer may move up to Active Member classification with no initiation fee. As is normally the practice, when a Social Member moves to Active Membership they would pay the initiation fee difference from when they joined Club to the current initiation fee.
#2 Children of Members 26 Years or Older Pay No Initiation Fee Through May 31, 2019 This program is for Members with children 26 years of age or older Now is the time for them to come and experience all that WCC has to offer and enjoy it together with their families and pay no initiation fee.
