This NE style pale ale from Burlington is a very enjoyable, thirst quenching brew that's easy to love. Elaborate Metaphor handles a full juice/hop flavor very well - especially for staying at the modest abv of 5.4.

Featured flavors are pineapple, grapefruit & tangerine. It's brewed with Citra & Amarillo hops and pours a hazy gold. Easy on the nose with fresh citrus notes & a bit of grain.

Overall, this beer is extremely crushable and available now at the bar in 16oz cans. Cheers!

Another great brewery (surprised?) from the northwest corner, down the road from Burlington, is Frost Beer Works in Hinesburg, VT. Their flagship IPA is the winning combo of flavor & balance, and they manage to pack it into a session-able 5% abv. Not a 'citrus bomb" NE IPA, but with notes of fruit tang, mid-level hop and grain - brewed to enjoy a few! Available now in 16oz cans.
