97th Invitational “Wild Card” Saturday Every Team still has a chance to win the coveted “Green Jackets” Didn’t quite have your best game the first two days? Today is a new day! The Grand March is a three-hole, single-elimination playoff to determine the 97th Invitational Champions. Participants: There will be 12 teams total, comprised of the 8 flight winners, 3 wild card teams and one team which has the most points on Saturday. The wild card teams will be those teams that won the greatest number of points in the field, but did not win their flight. In the event of a tie for the wild card, the first tie breaker is determined by the number of matches won during the tournament. Next tie breaker is most points on Saturday, followed by most points in Match 7 followed by most points in Match 6 and working backwards until the tie is broken. Most Points Saturday: The 12th and final team to participate in the Grand March will be the team that has the most points on Saturday but did not win their flight and is also not a wild card team.
