From 2 Rice Street Unbelievable how fast summer is going! I can’t believe it is mid-August and kids are starting to head back to school. Lot of great golf and pool weather ahead, so continue enjoying the club. With that, the club tends to run a little short staffed during the end of summer and we can use your help: • • •
Bunkers – be sure to rake bunkers every time you enter one. This is one area that may not be done each day. Divots – replace them (preferred) or fill with sand. With cooler temperatures, divots will grow back quickly if replaced. Ball Marks – repair yours every time. If you did not hit the green, find one or two to fix while you are waiting to putt. Reminder that you may hit the front of the green and your ball rolls off the back. Check the front of the green for marks.
Practice Range – Please clean balls of the green after you are finished and rake the practice bunker. Leave the practice area in better condition than you found it. Pace of Play – Reminder of our 4-hour pace of play policy. Staff do its best to monitor pace, but you are responsible for your group’s pace. Please pay attention to your pace. Holiday Parties – Now is the time to book your Holiday Party at the club! Contact Ryan Perkins, perkinsr@worcestercc.org to book and plan. Lori Lajoie Golf Tournament – Thank you to all the Members who supported the Lori Lajoie Golf Tournament held on Monday, August 17. We raised over $400,000 for Seven Hills programs this year! No Denim, clubhouse and Pool Shirts must be tucked in at all times No tee shirts in the clubhouse Hats off in the clubhouse (Men) Hats worn with bill facing forward No cargo pants or shorts anywhere
Members are responsible for Guests dress. Please inform them and monitor.
Please respect staff when they ask you to comply. They do not set the policy, but are charged to enforce it.
