Berlin ist eine pulsierende Hauptstadt mit allen Facetten, die sich zum unangefochtenen kulturellen und kreativen Magneten mitten in Europa entwickelt.

Ebenso bunt und agil ist seine Bevölkerung, die trotz der Größe Berlins auf ihren jeweiligen „Kiez“ schwört. Die Stadtteile sind so unterschiedlich wie ihre Einwohner. Diversität und Multikulti sind hier gelebte Normalität. Berlin ist die Hochburg des Streetstyles.

Die deutsche Hauptstadt der Modebranche und der Kreativen hat trotz aller Alltagshektik auch eine mediterrane, gemütliche Atmosphäre, zum Teil mit dem Charme der 50er-Jahre. Wer Trubel oder Partys sucht und mag, ist an der Warschauer Brücke, dem Knotenpunkt der Berufspendler, genau richtig. Die Geschichte der ehemals geteilten Stadt kann der Besucher noch hautnah in der Karl-MarxAllee mit ihren monumentalen, weißen Bauten im „stalinistischen“ Stil und direktem Blick auf den Fernsehturm, Berlins Wahrzeichen, erleben.

In About Berlin we take a look at current trends and street styles from the metropolis on the banks of the Spree river.

Berlin is not only the political centre of Germany, but also the heartbeat of the country, representing its many faces, the undisputed cultural and creative magnet in the heart of Europe.

Its population is just as colourful; the locals display a fierce loyalty for their “Kiez” despite Berlin’s size. The districts are as varied as their inhabitants. Diversity and multiculturalism are the norm here.

Berlin is the stronghold of street style but also the German capital of the fashion industry and the creative sector, with a laidback Mediterranean flair, despite the hustle and bustle of everyday life. If you like things lively and like to party, the Warschauer Bruecke is the place for you. Visitors can experience the history of the formerly divided city up close in the Karl-Marx-Allee with its monumental buildings in “Stalinist” style buildings and a clear view of Berlin’s landmark television tower.
