Please ensure all trash is emptied and placed in the green garbage bin at the end of the driveway. Please double-bag any meats or animal products to help deter wildlife.

Strip linens (sheets & pillow cases) from beds and leave outside bedrooms in hallways (this really helps our cleaning team get the house ready for the next guest).

GARBAGE & RECYCLING
Please bring all garbage to the green bin located at the end of the driveway Bag animal products (like meats) in a plastic bag before disposing to help deter wildlife
While we don't currently offer recycling services at Loonstar Lodge, we do encourage it Recycling can be dropped off at Crow Wing County Waste Management in Brainerd

WINTER WARNING
Please be careful coming down to the house from the garage in winter months We try our best to shovel and salt, but the walkway can still be slippery. Use caution.

Both the main floor and lower level living rooms are equipped with a Polk soundbar To start enjoying your favorite tunes, use the Polk remote on the end tables.

Loonstar Lodge is equipped with several smart TVs Simply login to your preferred platform using the Roku remote, enter your checkout date and start watching! .

Rainy or cold winter day? We stock a variety of games in the basement TV room; UNO, Ono-99, Phase 10 and more! Grab a buddy and play away!

Nothing beats a fresh cup of coffee in the morning (or two!) Help yourself to our drip coffee pot.
AIR FRYER
Fry up the catch of the day or some other tasty treat!
FILTERED DRINKING WATER
Just right of the kitchen faucet is a drinking water tap. Just a heads up - the water in the Cuyuna area is high in mineral content so the regular tap might have a irony taste.
GROWLER
Feel free to use the growler on the kitchen counter to fill up with your favorite brew from Cayuna Brewing Company!

LAUNDRY DETERGENT
Please bring your own detergent. 1/2 a cap should be plenty for most loads.
WASH A LOAD
Add your laundry (don't overfill), add soap by pulling out the soap reservoir, select wash cycle, & hit start.
DRY A LOAD
Add spun laundry to dryer (don't overfill), select dry cycle, add dryer sheet if desired, & hit start.
IRON
Here for a wedding, class reunion or other special event? The iron is located in the entryway closet. Help yourself!
OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
FIRE PIT
Is it even a real Up North MN Vacation without a bonfire and some s'mores? We think not. Head lakeside and enjoy the sounds of the loons while gathering around the firepit.
FISHING
Head out in the boat or just right off the dock (the fishing is quite good off the dock) and fish the day away! Expect to catch panfish, large-mouth bass and northern pike. Don't forget to purchase your MN fishing license!

GAS FIRE TABLE
The lakeside deck (off the screen porch) has a fire table with chairs - the perfect spot for sipping a late night glass of wine!
GRILL
Help yourself to our propane grill located on the front deck across from the front entry. We keep a spare propane tank onsite so please let us know if you need a refill.
BOAT LAUNCH
The Rabbit Lake public access is just minutes away. Don't forget the life jackets!

A BLA favorite! Rafferty's pizza serves up the best wood-fired pizza around Top it off with mountain bike inspired decor, craft beer and wine by the glass or bottle and you have one delicious stop!

You have to try their mouth-watering prime rib or gooey cheese curd poutine! Also, check out their fun breakfast creations.

Stop by the Red Raven for coffee, signature sandwiches, healthy smoothies and power bites. Get fueled up to conquer your day!

Surrounded by rocky outcrops and mine pit lakes, the Cuyuna State Rec Area is absolutely breathtaking! Come for a bike ride, kayak or a picnic lunch New to mountain biking? There is even a practice course for kids & adults
MOUNTAIN BIKING
The Cuyuna Area has become one of the country's top mountain biking destinations. We encourage you to give it a try! Whether you're an experience rider or a newbie, there are trails for all experience levels Even paved trails! Plenty of bike rentals too
VICTUAL
A whole lot of awesome going on here! They have a cheese counter, homemade ice cream, wine, t-shirts/souvenirs and everything you need to make your own charcuterie boards. One of our favorite stops.
SERPENT LAKE PLAYGROUND
Right on the shores of Serpent Lake, this playground is walking distance for all of downtown Crosby's shops and eateries. A massive playground that will entertain the kids for hours (or your money back!)
