pick up our own trash, remove our towels from lounge chairs when we leave the pool, say hello to a fellow member when passing them on the grounds, smile when ordering your entre, and any of a hundred other small gestures that you can do to change the culture of our little piece of paradise that we are all so lucky to belong to
In the very near future, you will be receiving an email and a letter from Joe, Jake Emerson, and myself That letter will be emphasizing the recommitment from leadership and staff to strongly encourage that we all try to be accountable for ourselves and take responsibility for our actions. We have the power to change the culture for the better but we must do it TOGETHER. I am asking that you do your part and the rest will take care of itself.
We have an incredibly exciting summer ahead of us which will kick off in a few short weeks with Memorial Day I look forward to seeing the frenzy of activity that will engulf our campus and thank you in advance for doing your part to help us improve our culture – one good deed after another

RACQUETS
DIRECTOR’S NOTE
As I experience my first spring here at Woodmont, I'm watching with delight as the Woodmont campus transforms from winter dormancy into vibrant life. While the golfers are celebrating their greener fairways, we at the Racquet Center are equally thrilled about our "clay days" ahead! The energy is palpable as members dust off their outdoor shoes and racquets I've never seen so many people excited about playing in dirt The buzz around our clay courts is contagious, and I'm looking forward to sharing this beautiful season of tennis, pickleball, and community with all of you
I would like to iterate the following: my door (and email) remains open to address any concerns or suggestions you may have. Your feedback is invaluable in helping us provide the best service possible here at the Racquet Center. I'm available for in-person meetings, or you can reach me via email at jweirsmith@woodmontcc.com. Member input has directly influenced many of our recent improvements, including new program offerings, junior program options, and even pickleball modifications and changes We're committed to continually enhancing your racquet sports experience at Woodmont, and your ideas play a crucial role in that process
LADIES INTER CLUB LAUNCH EVENT
Hosted on April 9 at the Racquet Center, we had over 30 ladies participating in this year's Inter Club launch event It was a smashing success! Ladies from all four of our Club teams came together for a morning of invigorating tennis and camaraderie. The F&B team put together a fantastic lunch for the ladies after the event. Thank you to all involved.

TREASURER’S REPORT
By John VerStandig, Treasurer
The first quarter of 2025 has ended on a strong note, finishing ahead of budget by $249,544. March also showed favorable results, surpassing the budgeted figures for the month by $40,923. This performance is a testament to the efforts of our team, which performed ahead of budget in almost every department.
There were some areas where expenses came in higher than anticipated. Additional work around the Clubhouse led to increased costs, as did the higher-than-budgeted expenses for taxes and towels, which were expected and will continue for the remainder of the year Despite these increased costs, the overall performance remained strong
Membership continues to be a positive driver for our financial success We are currently ahead of our budgeted target for Full Active Equivalent members, with 1,103 members, surpassing the budgeted number of 1,090.
The strong performance from most departments, combined with the stability in membership, puts us in a good position as we move into the next quarter.
