Lower School News ACSI Regional Speech Meet Forty-two lower school students represented Woodlands Christian at the ACSI Regional Speech Meet held on March 6 in Huntsville, Texas. The Woodlands Christian Academy came away with 11 medals from the event. Upper School News Middle School Science Receives New Equipment The middle school science program, taught by Jennifer Russell, recently received an entire suite of new equipment including microscopes, glassware, electronic balances, conductivity testers and much more. Students have been using the equipment to study chemical reactions, cells and microscopic life.

ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT NEWS Warrior Track Update The varsity track team continues to make great progress. On Saturday, March 7 we competed at the Episcopal High School relays against the top private schools in the Houston area. Out of 16 schools, our girls’ team finished in 6th place overall and the boys’ team finished in 11th place. Here are some of the highlights: •Hannah Shearer was less than one second off the 3200m school record time, running 12:24.

•Colln Bonner bested his own shot put school record by over two feet.

•Darcy Sanford improved her discus school record by 5” and earned a silver medal! She also tied the high jump school record with a high jump of 5’ and earned a bronze medal!

•Brad Fisher tied the school record with a high jump of 5’10” and earned a silver medal!

•Christian Mardaga and David Cure had season best marks in the shot put.

•Emily Rogers posted a season best shot put distance and earned a bronze medal!

•Colton Whittecar set a personal best mark in the discus by 2’.

•Morgan Young earned a silver medal in the pole vault!

•Elijah Bajoyo set a new personal record in the long jump by 1’2” •Riley Farra nearly matched her personal best in the triple jump, and Sebastian Martinez was close to a personal record in the long jump.

• Morgan Young set a season best time in the 100m dash and was only .48 seconds from the school record.

• Raul Giorgi set a season best time, and Elijah Bajoyo set a personal best time in the 200m.

• Sandra Karic and Patrick O’Connor set personal best times in the 400m.

• Alyssa Regier and Kyle Clark set season best times in the 800m.

• Alyssa Regier and Hannah Shearer set season best times, and Alex Yanochik set a new personal best time in the 1600m.

• Darcy Sanford tied a personal best time in the 100m hurdles and set a season best time in the 300m hurdles.

• Both the girls’ and boys’ teams posted solid relay times in the 4x400m and now lead our district.

Next up for the varsity track team is a meet at Concordia High School in Tomball on March 20.

Examples of charges are as follows: lunch, athletic fees, trip fees, books, clubs, activity charges, etc. You may view and pay your invoices through RenWeb by following the steps as outlined below:

2. Click on Pay Now. a. Enter the amount of payment. b. Enter credit card information.

A few reminders — • You will not receive an invoice or statement. Please view your charges via your RenWeb account and make every attempt to pay your account each month.

• In order for your payment to be properly credited, please pay each category separately.

• All athletic fees must be paid before students will be allowed to participate in games.

• All trip fees must be paid before students will be allowed to go on trips.
