The Warrior Booster Committee proudly serves our school community by promoting school spirit and sportsmanship, and provides support of our athletic fundraising activities. Your support goes directly to our athletic department to provide the best equipment, facilities and coaches to put our student athletes in a winning environment. Last year’s funds provided permanent softball bleachers, cheerleading uniforms, volleyball nets, baseball pitching machine, football equipment and middle school cross country and track uniforms. We deeply appreciate the energy and enthusiasm of those who made these accomplishments possible. We have some exciting and fun events planned for our TWCA family this year: 7th Annual Warrior Boosters Golf Tournament in October, Warrior Family Color Run in February and multiple school fellowship dinners throughout the year. “The 2018 football season is going to be an exciting year. Our objective in the off-season was to increase the numbers in the program and prepare the team physically in the weight room. As a coaching staff, we feel we have done a great job at both, and the 44-man roster is the largest that The Woodlands Christian Academy has seen in many years. While we are still young and continuing to grow, we are excited about the play of our offensive line and many of the skill positions on both offense and defense. Come out and support the team as we strive to honor the community both on and off the field.”

“After a record-breaking 2017 season, our Varsity Volleyball Team is looking to come back even stronger this year. After working hard in the oﬀ-season and over the summer, five starters return to the 2018 season to make a statement! With a tough preseason ahead of us, including two out-of-town tournaments, we are hoping to be challenged and pushed to be better prepared for district and postseason play. I’ve used phrases like “We are small, but mighty,” and “Less is more,” to describe the team this year, and I am confident in each one of them! They know they have the target on their back and they have to come out ready to play for each and every game, but they are ready!”

“As we enter the 2018 season, we reflect on our best overall season last year with both the Boys’ and Girls’ teams winning the state championship. Our Girls’ team has won the state championship in 3 of the last 4 years and this was the first championship for the Boys’ team. Both teams are returning many of the top runners including All-State Top 10 finishers Ellie Catron (1st) and Emily Jasek (5th). For the boys, All-State finishers returning include: Joshy Shearer (2nd), Josh Mueck (3rd), and Ben Shearer (6th).”
