Sounds Of The Season It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Thursday evening, December 2 the Woodlands Christian band program under the direction of Mr. Charlton Hughes, kicked off the Christmas season with an evening of outstanding music. The fifth grade band put the audience in a festive mood with their rendition of Jingle Bells. Their performance also featured Ode to Joy, When The Saints Go Marching In, and Hard Rock Blues. The sixth grade band delighted the audience with A Christmas Tale, O Come Emmanuel, and Jingle Bell Rock. The seventh and eighth grade band kept the Christmas vibe going with The Three Minute Nutcracker, Kingsfold and Christmas a la Big Band. The evening concluded with the high school band’s performance of Two Famous Carols, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas and Gaudete. The Christmas season is now officially underway!
